This makes me sad, please fix 
I just tried it and wasn’t able to interact with the pet to hearth at first, but after a minute I could click and start casting Hearthstone.
Following advice from wowhead comments, I logged out and logged back in. Hearthy worked immediately for me after I came back.
Still a bug, and I hope they fix it.
