I can’t get to the new mercenary thing because I’m stuck in the middle of this old tutorial. It is trying to make me play this card game against the computer and I keep losing. I actually dislike this a lot.
Does anyone know how I can just get to the game I need to so I can get this mount?
I’m not sure how you get out of that tutorial. The articles just say the following:
If you don’t have Hearthstone, you’ll need to download it first: just open your Battle.net launcher, click the Hearthstone tab, and click install. Once it’s installed, log in and head to the new Mercenaries mode. Tthe Mercenaries button will be highlighted and indicate its newly available status. You’ll also receive a quest to “Win 1 Bounty in Mercenaries” in your bonus daily quest slot, and it will reward two Mercenaries packs, which you’ll complete while during the tutorial. So if you like Mercenaries, you’ll already have some packs to play with. From here, just follow the instructions and play through the tutorial.
I’m stuck in something called “The Journey Begins” and I’ve played some boring card game against an npc. I keep losing.
There is a little options wheel, it gives me “options” and “quit”
All options does is allow me to adjust the volume, otherwise I’m completely trapped. I can’t even put in a ticket to help get me out of it.
I just followed the video. Had no issues.
And yes, I promptly uninstalled HS immediately afterwards.
Yeah that’s how the original Hearthstone works. But I honestly don’t know how you can back out of that tutorial. I’ll check around and see if anyone else had this issue.
He’s talking about the original Hearthstone tutorial, for when you first start the game. Which boss are you on, OP? I’m a Hearthstone player. I can help you out.

Look at the guides others gave but you need to play Mercenary Mode. I used the guide on wowhead. Its pretty easy and I personally played quite a bit afterwards. Kinda like it.
Right, but the issue is that he’s stuck in the original tutorial and can’t figure out how to get out of it to even get to the mercenaries tab.
You can’t get out of it until you complete it. I gave him a video.

Well, I think he hasn’t responded because he’s been busy doing the tutorial, so I think I helped him.
Well that’s stupid. They have the two versions separated. They should allow you to back out of the original version tutorial. Boo.
The problem with Blizzard games so often is that there is a very limited amount of information provided. They expect you to go searching around to try and figure things out.
