Only two people at a time that let’s you do the hearthstone game event, you must do so to get the achievements
Boss event spawns every hour, RNG at its finest. You have a week to get all the loot from said bosses.
There’s transmogs and a hearthstone coin mount to farm.
Can you get the transmogs in time? Not getting the RNG mount after 30+ kills? Who knows!
Be ready at 10 AM blizzard time!

How is an hourly schedule RNG at its finest?
This sounds horrible though. If this is how it is on live then I simply wont bother.

So folks are just gonna camp the chair and not leave? Cool

You can get the 36 bag mount after 7 kills or you can get the hearthstone coin mount after 50 kills
While having your bag full of other transmogs you already collected from 49 kills

I just saw the table, I laughed out loud. They gave us just >>>ONE<<< table for hearthstone? Half of servers are full. Do I need to say more?
It seems Blizzard don’t care about 10th anniversary event.

Doesn’t it say you can stand near the table for certain things? And mobs will spawn that drop cards? I don’t know if you actually have to be the ones playing to get things done for the event.

Zuma is only partially correct. You don’t need to play the game at the board to get the Achievements I don’t think. I think you can do the hourly event, play Wild Cards near the boards without playing, and defeat mobs that spawn near the boards. Those all can lead to cards to collect. So yes, you can complete the quest and collect cards without sitting at the playing board.
Completing the quest starts Play Hearthstone!, which requires you to play 5 Hearthstone cards or use Hearthstone Wild Card near one of the Hearthstone game tables around the quest giver. Hearthstone Wild Card can be purchased near the Hearthstone table.
he Hearthstone Invitation Letter begins It’s Hearthstone’s Anniversary! which directs you to talk to MC Farala, the Hearthstone Master of Ceremonies in Valdrakken. A free starter deck will have you on your way to Play Hearthstone! and collect cards.
-
Take a seat at a game table in Valdrakken, Stormwind, or Orgrimmar to play with an opponant
-
Play Hearthstone Wild Cards near, not at, the game tables
-
Look out for the Shady Dealer to get Wild Cards
-
Periodically, special encounters will allow you to defeat iconic minions and add them to your deck
-
Collect cards for achievements and rewards, including your own Hearthstone Game Table
For one of the Mounts is it a simple login to Retail requirement.
Just log into the retail version of World of Warcraft anywhere to receive the reward for logging in during the event. Then head over to Valdrakken, Stormwind, or Orgrimmar to participate in the anniversary events.
Anyone who logs in between March 11th and March 18th, 2024 will receive the Fiery Hearthsteed mount and a matching Achievement, Hearthstoned: Fiery Edition!

So, after all that I didn’t need to install Hearthstone at all last week and try my hand at it? It’s been - 10 years since I had it installed.
There’s another mount that requires you to farm the boss…
You need someone to play said games to have the card monsters spawn occasionally
You can obtain cards by staying around the Hearthstone tables in Valdrakken. Occasionally, monsters from the cards will spawn and can drop their card as a reward. During these invasions, there’s also the chance of getting Whizbang to spawn.
So you either farm wild cards (aka spending a lot) to get the achievements or hope the hourly boss gives you said cards to collect
Which once again… RNG at its finest

Thanks. I don’t want to miss the fun when the event goes live.
Yes, it is RNG. That is REALLY obvious. Not sure what you expected.
I have not seen the “cost” of the Wild Cards yet - have you? I doubt they would be super expensive seeing as it is an option to complete the 5 played quest.
Also folks, daylight savings time started yesterday. WoW is not known for adjusting to that consistently across events.
It is supposed to start at 10am Pacific (local 2024-03-11T17:00:00Z) but may very well start an hour later at 11am Pacific (local time 2024-03-11T18:00:00Z)

10th Anniversary sounds like a good time to try the game…installs…first launch…nope can’t do it…uninstall
Events in mmo require boss kills to get a mount?
What a new concept…

Hmm let’s go take a look back at the Diablo 4 event:
You know the compass mount is tyreals charger drop rate 2.0 and you’ll look the other way when the mount is not dropping
No…I tried Hearthstone for the first time ever today. After I was about to jump out a window from the game play I decided to uninstall it instead.

Apparently we are supposed to be outraged or something about the event having… bosses to kill, RNG for aspects of it.
In an MMO that has tons of RNG and boss killing mechanics.
I find my outrage bucket is empty today. I can’t summon any to be upset at the HS event at all. Looks like it might be fun and it is in Valdraken (and Stormwind/Ogr for the hourly boss) not something I have to run all over for.
- Mount just for logging into Retail
- Mount from a boss kill event that scheduled
- Pet
- 36 slot bag
- Achievements for card collecting that does not require playing at the limited HS table slot.
Again, my outrage meter is still zero.
