Does heart stop aura effect the cooldown of spells like lightning bolt or chain lightning? Does it effect any melee abilities?
It only effects abilities with a cooldown.
So for example Obliterate, Scourge Strike, Festering Strike, Froststrike, etc don’t have cooldowns. They’re only limited by your Rune Regeneration and Runic Power, so they are NOT effected by Heartstop. On the flip side vs a Ret Paladin, Crusader Strike, Judgement, and Blade of Justice are all on a cooldown so they ARE slowed down by Heartstop. I don’t play a Shaman, but i’m pretty sure those abilities aren’t on a cooldown, thus not suspect to Heartstop.
