This hero talent needs changing in my opinion… the min max raid build doesnt even take Sheilun’s Gift leaving this as an empty node… its pigeon holing builds… i wish it activated off a different ability… or was changed entirely to a seperate thing all together… as it stand it is a bad node
I think they should just make Sheilun’s gift better.
I wish they would change the trigger to something other than SG, or just have it proc on the next vivify every 80s.
Buffs to SG would also be nice. Making it trigger mastery on every target again and lowering the cast time by another .5 sec would be a good start.
SG takes too long to charge up… and hits 2 targets without spending 2 extra talent points to make it hit a whopping 4… its an absolutely awful talent… outside of M+ use… and even in M+ i wish i had another option
This is kinda how I feel too. For 3 talent points spent I think we should get more bang for that buck.
At this point all the specs for monk are messed up but yes, for the amount of points it takes, I agree we should get more. I don’t know why the mastery was taken away in the first place.
I also don’t understand why they took away the talents we had that gave group buffs when there was nothing game breaking about them and it’s not like everyone was rushing to re-roll monk in any way.
Having the new recommended raid spec leave a busted node in the hero tree also makes it seem like they didn’t consider this when they added the new talent.
Seeing the Node all red makes me a sad panda.
I wish they would have gave us some kinda of explanation for this too. Kinda sucks we didnt get to keep the avoidance buff and that they didnt buff the windwalking aura.
Is such a joke of an aura too. Like it’s basically a noob trap node at this point
I would aargue that a LOT of mistweaver talents need rethinking, either what they do or where they are placed in the tree. MW in general is a pretty good spot play-wise but our talent tree is a mess (we have 21 talent points in our bottom bracket the most for any spec and way ahead of the median of about 16 - while our top bracket has only 1 flex point between two talents - Crane Style or Healing Elixir), and we have a number of hero talents are really underwhelming (not a problem unique to us admittedly).
I run a Master of Harmony + Rushing Wind Kick build and the talent Balanced Strategy is completely dead for me because I never hit physical skills ever.
SG from dragonflight definitely felt a little OP but man they really nerfed it into the ground for TWW. With the nerfs to gusts, I was kinda hoping they’d put gusts on more abilities but I guess not.
Honestly though, SG was never great for healing in raids unless you ran really small raid sizes. I really want there to be a different version of it that is more raid-friendly as a choice node, maybe something that can spread gusts or help spread ReMs out to nore group members, then it can help fill the gap that essence font left as a set up spell. Right now the only reason you would ever take SG in raid is for shaohao
