As requested by Customer Support, here is yet another dupe bug report that has been submitted multiple times over however many months. Not sure why they’re requesting a bug report be made when there are already countless (unaddressed) duplicates.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Enter Firelands 10 Player Normal difficulty with Character A on the quest Heart of Flame, having already collected 217 Smouldering Essences
- Progress through the raid normally, siphoning Smouldering Essences from defeated bosses on Character A until they have the required 250/250 to satisfy the quest requirements
- After defeating the first 5 boss encounters, change the Raid Difficulty to 10 Player (Heroic) and defeat Majordomo Staghelm
- Change the Raid Difficulty back to 10 Player
- Engage Ragnaros with Character A, noting that the debuff Rage of Ragnaros does indeed appear
- Without Character A dying during the encounter and still having the debuff, defeat Ragnaros
- Again without Character A dying following the encounter and while still having the debuff, observe the Interactable Object, ‘Heart of Flame’, accompanied by a gear icon when the Object is moused over in the middle of Ragnaros’ platform, surrounded by lava
- Character A travels to and attempts to loot the quest item Heart of Flame from the Interactable Object ‘Heart of Flame’ when the hoverable gear icon turns yellow, indicating that Character is in range
RESULT:
Interactable Object ‘Heart of Flame’ correctly spawns while meeting the criteria, but does not contain or award Character A with the quest item, Heart of Flame. The Object disappears upon being clicked on, and Character A has is unable the quest
CLASS/SEVERITY:
B2 (but an A1 to me)
