Ok I’m going to start this off by saying I am fully aware that this is a first world problem that only affects a small amount of the player base at this time and is pretty trivial in the greater scheme of things.
That being said, Blizzard could you please put back gold on the bonus rolls? If you’re currently capped at level 50 for your HoA and you fail a roll, you literally get nothing. Again, minor issue, but kind of sucks, especially when the rolls are 500 resources (for the second per week) or 2000g.

I hadn’t thought of that loss as I finish my last level to 50. It really is disappointing that blizz couldn’t be bothered to see this result and do something to retain folks who will unsub until 8.2 releases.
It’s odd to me that any corporation would willfully tank it’s own product and do things like this knowing full well it will cost them more subscriptions and revenue.

That’s a pretty big oversight on their behalf, especially if you’re using Gold for your tokens.
7000g a week for nothing? I’d rather give the gold to another player tbh

No no no… Easy fix max neck toons get a BoA stone that collects wasted AP that you can mail to alts to level alt neck pieces BAM super useful and helpful…

I would be fine with that, or just take it off the loot table, an extra tidal core, heck not even some sort of ahead of the curve or achievement at all, kind of with I didn’t push that last level and stopped doing world quests at 49
Would it really be the end of the world for them to just make it a guaranteed loot piece if you capped the neck. If your neck is capped you’re probably pretty well geared for the content you’re doing and aiming for one specific piece of gear, or a TF, or both.

That would be wonderful but way too strong and it would be considered grossly unfair by many. But it would be nice to have something other than a waa-waa-waa ™ considering seals cost a considerable amount of resources or gold.
They need to convert all ap into 1g/1az power or 50s/1az power. Its such bad design to castrate the main gimmick of the entire game right now to being useless.

The end of legion is the key - this is a temporary thing since people will need that azerite again in a month or so.
Considered unfair? Sure, I’m certain people would say that. Too strong I don’t really think so. If we were starting a tier, you’re right, way too strong. But at this point, if you’re maxed, every single drop from your relevant content probably needs to TF to be useful anyway, or on a boss or two that a piece you need has just eluded you.
For me for example, this MIGHT result in a 1 ilvl increase over where I’d be otherwise by the next tier, which as it stands is unlikely to be too much higher than where I’m at right now. Doesn’t feel too OP for the last few weeks of a tier before the cap is adjusted again.
I don’t know why they haven’t done this. They did it two times in legion. Once before during the original 54 trait grind. And then near the end when we could roid out our artifact with sargeras’ special sauce.

Yes. The difference is in legion we got items that we used. Using them gave us the AP. Them being items means blizzard could put a gold value on them, which they did, so that anyone who was capped could vendor them for extra gold. The issue now is it isn’t an item, we just automatically get the AP.
Because they can’t add gold to ny wallet without looting something right? Not like that doesn’t happen already in game or something…

By the extension of the decreased AP for only 4 weeks, I suspect this is going to affect a lot more people really soon. I am getting close myself, without going out of my way to cap.
I think that at 50 gold for a bonus roll is not a bad idea at all. Otherwise it was an absolute waste. Not a bad idea.
I have no issue with it, and will hit you with a like to support it that way as well.
If I am recalling correctly, it automatically converted to gold, didn’t it?
