I get what your saying… MY point is, just because its not a class from the original doesn’t mean it can’t be added to current WoW.
Except, blizzard totally wont do that.
Every class in this game, and every class that has been added to this game has been loyally based on Warcraft 3.
And not only is it showing loyalty from blizzard, its EASIER for them to do it too.
If you want classes that don’t fit as easily to the universe, then more power to you. But Blizzard definitely isn’t going to come up with something brand new when they already have a bunch of new classes waiting in the wings from WC3.
Like, Necromancers and Spellblades would be cool and all, but Blizzard wont go through the effort of making them, and personally I think bards would be a nonsensical addition to a universe where “arcane magic” is actually “Left over Titan computing energy”
It saddens me seeing high elves getting so much support.
The Alliance needs something new like Vulpera. Not more of what we already have.
We already have 4 elf races.
(Commentary): It saddens me that we got Void Elves instead of High Elves. Could’ve prevented so much drama and unhappiness and the Alliance playerbase might not be tanking right now. I look forward to the day High Elves are added so we can move on to more creative choices.
(Commentary): I’d rather see races that exist within the factions added before new races are added, to bring things up to speed. For the Horde this means Ogres, Mok’Nathal, and Taunka. For the Alliance it means High Elves, Half-Elves, and perhaps Frost Dwarves. The addition of Mok’Nathal/Half-Elves, or High Elves/Ogres, could either preclude the other, or incorporate customization of the other, to reduce the number of Allied Races.
(Commentary): Well, there were some Saberon who came to Azeroth with the Mag’har and ran off into Kalimdor. I think it would be interesting if perhaps some Guardian of Hyjal discovered them and helped them tame their bestial instincts, and brought them to the Night Elves. Alternatively, I’ve seen the suggestion that the Alliance should have the opportunity to head to Draenor to recruit Yrel and her Draenei, and that the Saberon could be added from there as allies of the Draenei who were enlightened by Apexis Crystals and learned magic/the light from the Draenei, providing a more sophisticated race.
Weak way to try and win a discussion… Take what you “think” Blizzard would or wouldn’t do… Blizzard can do whatever they want and have been taking more creative liberties the older WoW gets…
Saberon look cool, but are dumber than a bag of Kobolds.
But, if they were added I would make the cast of the cinematic nightmare fuel CATS as new alts.
I’m think McCavity is a Rogue, Bombalina would be Warlock, Rumtum Tugger would be Hunter.
Here’s a better idea. How about the devs fix the atrocious clipping of beast races first before the Alliance get another beast race? Pretty much every armour set you put on a Worgen is either misaligned or clips so badly people just end up hiding half their set out of annoyance. I could only imagine how hilariously bad armours would clip on Saberon’s based on Worgen’s alone.
I would love to play a Saberon.

Well let’s see: Over 30 plus mega threads dedicated to it. Player requests stretching back as far as Vanilla. At least one online petition, the face book group, the discord server, a large fan following.
please don’t reference those cesspools of toxicity here, and keep them reserved to the cesspool in question. thanks.
You mean like the forums in general?

No. Saberon have to be horde because Alliance have Worgen and I NEED a cats vs dogs thing to laugh about.
Just make a vulpera vs saberon thing then.
Classes require a ridiculous amount more balancing for the game then a race with a couple of features.
Nah, its already Vulpera vs Sethrak. Saberon for Horde.
Sethrak aren’t even cats…
Saberon it’s not a bad idea … Broken Draenei at other hand it’s amazing …

Weak way to try and win a discussion… Take what you “think” Blizzard would or wouldn’t do… Blizzard can do whatever they want and have been taking more creative liberties the older WoW gets…
If you wanna put any faith in them, be my guest.
But you’re playing a Diaper Gnome, So I’m assuming you think blizzard can do no wrong.

So let us have Saberon as an Alliance allied race, it would be a humorous counter to both Worgen and Vulpera races, it would be a fitting addition to the Alliance for the people who want to play a “fuzzy” but remain an Alliance faction player.
Disclaimer: I am very much not a furry.
That being said, what would Saberon offer those kinds of players that isn’t already offered by the worgen? And why would they be considered as enticing if not moreso than vulpera? Saberon are primal savages. They don’t really have the “uwu” factor that vulpera do.
I’m not saying that we shouldn’t have Saberon, but I am saying that your rationale for their inclusion doesn’t really jive with what they are as a race.

Broken Draenei at other hand it’s amazing
Ah, a kindred soul! We are few, but we are proud!
The Saberon were on AU Draeneor
AU Draenor is gone
The Saberon are gone
Furbolgs are a shoo-in for the Alliance.
-
They’re long-time allies of the night elves.
-
A tribe of them was actually about to join the Alliance in Cataclysm, but the Horde sabotaged it in an Azshara zone questline.
-
With the Horde’s recent wanton destruction in Darkshore, Ashenvale and Azshara they’re sure to have been seriously affected, it makes perfect sense that they would want to band together with the Alliance against a common enemy.
it’s ludicrous that it hasn’t happened yet.

No more animal races. It’s becoming World of Zoocraft. Fun for kids but really, adults should get over this already.
… You’re a goat. You’re apart of the same problem that you’re complaining about.
