I will play healing when official UI supports full VuhDo functionality.

If you want customization from an addon like Vuhdo, why not just use Vuhdo instead of the default UI?

I think default frames + mouseover macros/clique + a few weakauras like targeted spells (shows on your frame when someone is being targeted by something so you know ahead of time) and dragonflight dungeon dispels season 3 (glows the frame itself when you can dispel something) and whatever spec weakauras you want is probably enough to comfortably heal 20s

I just use Vuhdo, it’s too much work trying to do the default UI.

Because I do not want to be left without control every patch update waiting for some random person to write addon for me and I do not have time to write it myself.

I don’t think m+ is the issue. I could probably comfortably heal 20’s with a few select weakauras alone, but the difference vuhdu/healbot make in raid healing vs default UI is night and day.

Prolly not the place to ask but how do healers heal the adds in fights like Larry/fyrakk/galakrond? None of my heals are on my bars lol.

Also this, I’ve used VuhDo for years. It’s never not worked.

Sadly, those are your choices right now. Use an addon or do not. There is no default UI addition to fix your issue.

Mouse over macros can help a lot.

Also, I use grid2. With boss frames on. They show up as a unit frames next to the raid/group so I can heal like normal. It makes add healing easy outside of fryakk. Those adds don’t show up. Fryakk I don’t typically heal adds at all.

So, I would like to see a develoment team play this game and show us how they do everything with default interface which they provide on the higher difficulty.

I’m not sure if doing something like Mythic would require an overhaul, but yeah in the N/H raid just barring riptide, chain heal and healing surge is enough to do them pretty easily.

Heroic is as far as I would take a healer this tier yeah. New to the role.

Might just spellbook it if it’s that easy.

I couldn’t figure out Vuhdu so I use Healbot. I’m old. LOL

I’ve been healing in WoW for 17 years, never super high content but always perform exceptionally in the content I do, and have always used the default UI except I did use Clique before its functionality was added to the default UI.

That’s not saying default is fine for everyone, healers are very specific about their setups. But I’m not the only one that uses a fairly minimalist addon loadout. Personally I feel that if I can’t use the given tools and do well, that’s a skill issue on my part.
