So I decided to give it a shot because I like fast queues, but man I tell you what I can see why people don’t like it.
I enter solo shuffle with my honor gear, the best gear I can get with what I have after I hit 70. I get mashed 6 games in a row, every time I queue, by a healer with better gear than me until I can buy the upgrades with pity conquest points. I’m not into that man.
Eating Ls until I can scrape up enough to be on an even playing field with the other guy? That takes the kind of dedication to PvP that I just don’t have anymore.
I have to literally be better than the other healer to such a high degree that I can overcome 15 ilvls worth of gear and that’s on a healer that I JUST hit 70 with.
So essentially I have to be better than someone else, who has better gear and more experience on their class. Come on dude, you want to know why healing solo shuffle sucks? Same reason playing regular BGs suck. You farm losses until you can get the gear. Even if gearing up is the fastest it’s ever been, this is a system that makes you feel bad.
There have been lots of complaints about that very issue. I think they should have just created solo queue RBG’s, which is what players were actually asking for.

Imo conquest should not require 3 wins, it should give you conquest per win, the same amount as one 3v3 arena win would.
Yeah, absolutely. Each round is effectively a single, standalone game for the purposes of cr/mmr gains, so going 1-5 or 2-4 should give you 1 or 2 rounds worth of conquest.
Also the mode is still missing 5 arena maps.
Battlegrounds were the premier PvP of this game.
Hated arenas ever since they were added in TBC.

The focus should’ve always been on ranked battlegrounds, just like how they focus on raiding instead of solo PvE.
Objectives are always better than a deathmatch. Tanks would actually be able to contribute as well.
Tanks in arena are just lulcows. It’s not a mode ‘everyone’ can play.
I’m glad other people are aware of how stagnant and unhealthy PvP has become.
