Game pace is too fast during CD trades in general. There’s a lot of overtuned damage, but Healers only need a global or two to top you off.

Both healing and burst damage need to come down to smooth out the pace. You should feel like you’re slowly dying throughout the match. Not immortal for 85% of it and having a panic attack for the remainder.

reduce the 4 burst cd’s people have to 1.

My ret’s burst damage is 250% of regular damage.

Healers ignore DPS with burst down if there’s no significant dampening.

Bring up base damage to compensate, so that matches can be tug o’ war and not ZOMG

health pools should just be doubled it would slow down the pace and make CC stacking matter and not make 1 cyclone feel like i have to trade 3 cooldowns

I was doing some resto games last night, had full hots, cenarion ward plus iron bark and the feral I was healing still died.

Damage is near unhealable. Even a 2 second cc on a healer is enough to to set them back so much there is no recovery.

This is why healing shuffle isn’t fun. It’s just tunnel vision and throw any cc you have on the healer until they can’t recover.

Outside burst I’m throwing hammers and blade of J barely hitting over 40k to 60k TV

In Crusade, every global I’m throwing out some 100k+ hit and auto finishers and divine ire. And 20% more haste and my auto crit HoW 100k+.

Wings 20% damage+healing was only burst for YEARS and you still peed your pants seeing those wings go up.

I want pvp to be an arm wrestle again, not: healer loses their DPS in 2 seconds/my fellow DPS dies before LoH technically globaled.

or I get completely ignored when wings is down b/c I don’t have a MS and dampening isn’t clutching me.

Am I crazy or do people generally not die until a healer ooms now?

Outside of things like a sub rogue 100-0ing someone, or a double 300k chaos bolt scenario.

I think it’s this or dampening hits so hard with MS.

I literally won’t care about arenas after this season but if they keep balancing healers around it, BG’s and RBG’s will continue to be miserable.

Feel like most of the healer misery stems from solo shuffle as the game mode has to be anti healer to account for 6 rounds.

Its not that healing cant keep up with the current damage for the most part, its that dampen has to ramp so high so fast that the role is forced to be weak every single round, and that isn’t a fun way to play.

The game mode actively countering your role on top of the mmr issues a lower player pool causes (healers only vs other healers in terms of mmr) seems why it is so miserable atm.

What do you mean? You don’t like burning through every single CD you have in the first 20 seconds of each match??

Healers are immortal for first 2-3 minutes of shuffle til Damp trolls. Healers are immortal in RBG’s at all times.

Pretty sure i just healed a game with your enhance on my priest, and that was one of the most miserable games i’ve ever had

Well, don’t kill the healer. Saying they are immortal for 2-3 minutes is also incorrect. Well, I guess for some players that is true.

It’s posts like this calling healers immortal that they get nerfs and no one wants to play them. Whenever I play a healer I certainly don’t feel immortal at any time in shuffle and my teammates all die very easily to the smallest mistakes.

Yea, not much I can do when I am disarmed and sitting stun and building no maelstrom from blur/evasion for the first 30s of the game.

Healers are just way harder to play. You have to watch more and most are bloated to all heck. Even if you change the pacing, it wont help much if they don’t making the actual act of healing much more fun.

NOPE its not fun, thats why I am always kind and grateful to healers!
