Healing sim?

Does anyone know if there is a healing sim out there ?

Mr. Robot appears to work but I see no way to enter corruptions. Looking for a site or addon that would allow me to compare different stats and gears. Thank you!

I don’t know about healing sims, but if I’ve heard right sims right now aren’t accurately reflecting corruptions. They’re favoring proc effects inaccurately.

No. There’s not currently a way to accurately sim healing gear for throughput. It’s just too variable.

I mean, you can look at best guesses from people who have really tried to crunch the data for particular classes and specs (like Icy Veins), but for basic simming…not really. You’ll also find that conventional wisdom and recommendations will vary from site to site. So. Read the articles and make your best guesses. BiS is still BiS, and go from there.

I was afraid that may be the case. Thanks.

I find it extremely disappointig. Between there being no heal specific corruptions, how hard it is to test healing things on test dummies, and that sims don’t really support healer simming, it’s all just a bit frustrating.

You cant really sim healers like you do dps, at least to my knowledge.

There are general rules for each class. Did you have questions about another class or for your druid?

In terms of just corruption, are you looking for damage contribution or for healing? For healing purposes, the flat stat increases or leech corruptions would be the most valuable. For damage, Twilight Devastation or Mind Tendrils will do decent damage overall.

I use LFR. I’m not even kidding. I go into LFR with different combinations and test it out. Best healing dummy in the game, IMO

Edited to add: The other thing, of course, is to consult your own raid logs and damage meters and healing meters to see what procs the most/best.

Visit your class discord server. Likely to find suggestions and/or general guides there.

Yea I’ve been doing that too. Good workaround, no doubt. I just think it’s strange how difficult blizzard makes it to test healing data (I know blizz doesn’t control 3rd party sims, but they do control how hard it is to stay in combat with a training dummy while also casting heals, and somehow making yourself lose HP so certain things will proc).

I digress.

you can’t really sim people… unless you would make a situation where people sit on every single avoidable thing for reasons…

that’s why healing on sims might not be a thing ever…

Thanks, i’ll check that out.

It took us – what? – like five expansions to get them to even give us healing dummies.

Healing sims are kind of pointless and don’t typically exist.

Even if they do exist I don’t really see them having any value.

I’m a newbie here so help me understand -

In a sim for DPS it has to account for the character being simmed moving out of things right? Why couldn’t it do it for other raid players too?

Best test environment in the game. However the only drawback is if there are determination stacks which skews results.

Where are these healing dummies? Never seen them :stuck_out_tongue:

This site uses data from warcraft logs to best compare things like trinkets, essences, azerite traits, etc. It’s not a sim by any means but it will help you make decisions.

Thanks! Checking it out now

There are some near the Alliance FP in Boralus and some in the giant pink Pyramid at Dazor’Alor near the crafting vendor area if I’m not mistaken. They also have a nice set in the druid class hall.

Thank you so so much. I never knew this. Big help.

In LFR. They are disguised as players
