Healing Mage Tower Challenge Needs Work

I think the Healer Mage Tower Timewalking Challenge is overtuned. And this is coming from someone who did the OG (look at my toon’s transmog & achievements).

I was always under the impression that the OG Healing Mage Tower Challenge in Legion was the hardest of them all - it required Healers to Heal Noob NPCS, Stun, CC, Kite, DPS, etc. It was very hard at the time, but doable with plenty of practice. I think I got mine after around 70 attempts.

This go around, I am unable to get past the fourth wave of mobs in the first phase at all. I am 250 iLvl, and more practiced with my class from more years of playing it. This needs more tuning to how the classes currently work rather than how they did in Legion with Artifacts/Legendaries, IMO.

The healing challenge is the last one I need to do. I’ve never healed before. Always did tank or dps roles. I was informed shaman should be the simplest option to attempt it on. But wow the reaction time for decurse in that first phase is incredibly frustrating.

None of the other challenges felt nearly has difficult. Nor did I need to go searching for min-max gearing. This healing one does not feel right.

Resto Druid is much easier imo

Do a couple full runs of mythic siege of orgrimmar and heroic siege of orgrimmar, then put +6 or +4 int gems in every slot and the challenge will feel much easier

Are you talking about the blue arrow that puts a debuff on you that drains mana?

Just block yourself with a friendly NPC (usually the tank) so that the tank gets the debuff instead of you

Make sure to watch a guide so that you understand how all mechanics work.
