As a background I used to play 5 years ago and came back a little while ago. I went to a BFA random as a healer but seems like even spamming heals I couldn’t keep the tank up. Has something changed or was the tank just pulling too much/not using his skill to lower the damage? I understand I don’t have many tools at 27 but needing to spam flash heal while renew is ticking and still failing is not what I call enjoyable;)
It is very difficult I agree. I recently played through most of the storyline for BFA Kul Tirans. I had a hard time keeping up and even felt like a wipe or two may have been my fault. I felt as if I couldn’t take a breath or scratch my head IRL without missing something. Closer you get to 50 you get some extra tools, but yeah, I do agree the dungeon should scale DOWN to the lowest person rather than up to the highest.
I did run one on my monk and we did much better even with nobody really knowing the dungeon. I think we only had one death and it was way more enjoyable. In my quest to figure out the healer I like I have so far tried Holy Priest, Mistweaver Monk and Resto druid and for some reason Holy Priest seem to be the toughest. Maybe it’s just a matter of finding the style of healer I prefer and then practice…or it might be that I just suck:)
BFA dungeons are the worst-designed dungeons in the game, and they’re not made even one tiny bit better by trying to heal them with the very minimal toolkit you have at various levels.
I just wouldn’t bother running those.
