I am using LFD to level literally just one of my initial 5 characters, and I can’t see me doing much more of that business once that one guy is done.
My god, who are these patient saints that actually queue to heal this wall to wall garbage fire?
I did a follower dungeon earlier with my fistweaver and had a wonderful time. I then sit down to LFD-level my affliction warlock and… mother of god! Tanks pulling everything they possibly can until they fall over without even a bit of co-ordinating conversation with the healer! Healer’s just supposed to suck that up I guess? Who queues for that?
I just…
Listen, healers, listen to me ok?
If tomorrow the queues dry up because y’all are done with this… I’ll find another way to level. Please understand that anyone who has seen what you’re going through will understand. Let it burn. Let LFD burn. Don’t tolerate this madness for us, reclaim your peace and sanity.
The only way they’ll learn is hour long queues. Run delves or follower dungeons. Let it burn.

Tanks with like below 400 item level pulling everything. And then you combine that with DPS that do no damage. Had a BM hunter doing 14k DPS in a dungeon earlier. I don’t even know how that’s possible

Healing has been okay for me. Did a resto druid and 2 resto shaman. No issues so far
I tried healing earlier, and realized immediately I dont like “The Feel”.
So much splash/AoE damage, poisons, decurses. ROT.
I realized my healing kit on my druid has been reduced to silliness. Im just literally spamming Trees, or hitting convoke on CD. I have no reliable spot heal I feel I’ll be fine.
M+ wont make it any easier. Dam will ramp, and I just dont want to frantically heal like that.
Guess Im going Guardian for now.

Where we are going we dont need peace nor sanity. Consider this your training wheels for when m0/m+ releases, people struggling on normal/heroic have no idea what is coming.
Folks that are powered by spite mostly
As a healer main, I think at a certain point you get used to the assumption “this is going to be a total sh**show”, and always go into every situation expecting the worst. So when you actually get a group that does logical pulls, you’re like, “Wow! This is so easy and relaxing!” But these days, I don’t even sweat when the tank pulls the entire room and everyone is undergeared, because, that’s just what’s become normal lol. Pretty sad to say.

I realized during DF that I just don’t care for healing anymore with how the game is designed. Everything is super fast paced crazy burst no chance to breathe. Either you have a group that actually controls the pack(s) they’re dealing with and it’s manageable or you don’t and there’s almost nothing you can actually do about it because things are tuned to just kill you instead of being healable around starting… really, before KSM level keys.
The good groups were fine but the gamble of having to put up with even a slightly poor group made healing more stressful than fun so I stopped.
I think I’m still fine with it in Raids. It’s largely single target so the groups aren’t arbitrarily making the encounter harder for the most part by combining threats. Big incoming damage is largely predictable and it comes down more to learning a dance and executing it than about twitchy reactions to a single missed interrupt or whatever. Too bad raids are actually worthless in modern WoW outside of 1 or 2 super special items that are allowed to be OP to justify raids existing.
