Healers: How are you feeling?

Runs oom too fast but aside from that it’s ok.

amazing no-cast hps that can match the most efficient hardcast-dependent healers on mana would be kind of unfair, surely

Enjoying hpal and rsham

Mistweaver caster is alot of fun. I’m having a pretty good time in RSS!

It’s kind of a core resto druid function to be mana efficient. Losing mana war as a resto druid feels horrible

that’s not much of an answer. go ahead and try again

trying to get value from earthwall totem in solo shuffle continues to bring nothing but pain as I watch my teammates run out of it. It seems to have some undocumented aura that repels my allies as though it were an enemy monk’s ring of peace. SLT seems to suffer from similar.

I forgot earthen wall existed because I stopped bothering with it. And when I do remember it people walk out it anyways. And then I play my priest and drop barrier and people walk out of that too and that visual is huge. No hope

Yeah i really need to know what the hell eople are thinking with that. EarthenWall soaks a lot.

I think with barrier they maybe think it belongs to the other healer. Maybe not knowing if it’s a good barrier or bad one

I swear enemy barriers used to be tinted red, rather than gold. No idea when/why that was changed, if it was, because it seems like such a common sense distinction.

Small number of matches this season after a long absence -

RBGs fun (survival felt good) - yolo

Solo shuffle got yelled at :(, so not fun (yelled at for not surviving)

Regular BGs fun (survival was okay, cept for the ton of balance druids that played murder spam on AV)

-Grandma pvper (for perspective)

just capping conq for Tmog, no interest in climbing

I think after season 2, playing healer in RSS is asking for consented abuse, especially in this current meta. Damage profile seems much higher, granted it’s early in the season. If you have buddies you can play with in 2’s or 3’s probably would be more enjoyable but I don’t bother with those modes anymore.

This is how I’m feeling. As much as I want to like DF as an expansion, PvP feels worse to me than at any point in recent WoW memory.

-I can only play RSS as a healer, otherwise I’m waiting 30 minutes to an hour for queue. I have better things to do with my time.

-Random BGs feel awful. Every single one is a curb stomp by one team or the other.

-Balance this patch feels completely out of whack. I don’t find myself wanting to play either of my mains (WW and Shadow) at all.

Rsham is fun imo, but it’s just immensely frustrating in rss because no one stays in your wall or comes to your link. I’d stick to 2s and 3s

i feel sad because healer mmr makes me tilted.

i do not want to heal people 500 mmr below me and also the reversed.

i want to play at my real mmr

can you elaborate on why representation is not good for determining how strong a spec is? sounds like you’re talking out of your cheeks

Remi usually brings up the example of Jungle being a top 3 ladder comp in SL but feral barely broke into the top 10 rep wise

Class representation has way too many additional factors that have nothing to do with a specs overall strength

Ret, Warrior, DH are all incredibly popular specs which means they are normally top 5 in rep regardless of how good or bad they are

Caster rep is lower than melee rep by a relatively wide margin right now yet all 3 mage and lock specs are good, boomy and ele are excellent, etc

Outlaw was the lowest or second lowest melee spec by rep last season and yes it was bad. Outlaw is arguably the best rogue spec currently and it’s still bottom 3 in melee rep

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that representation is a “bottom tier metric” like them, when in reality it’s just a nuanced one. Yes, DH/UH metrics are valuable in determining that they were and are overwhelmingly busted.

Yet some classes/specs are just never popular, no matter their strength.

Look at SV: strong all expansion, always low rep. Most hunters just don’t want to play a melee/ranged hybrid that has a lower skill floor and a higher skill cap than either other spec.

Look at feral: always lower rep than its given strength, because people want to see transmog (same was true of boomkins before Glyph of Stars).

Look at evoker: short of how busted Augs were, it’s been a very low represented class, probably in large part due to the same transmog problem as Feral. If/when they get a glyph to stay in Visage form, this would probably change.
