Can’t decide between those three for season 3. Primarily m+. I wish Priest had a kick…
If you pug most of your keys, you can’t go wrong with shaman.
Resto Shaman.
Yea, that’s very true. I’ve been leaning that way. Super fun.
Druid has the most to offer, and if you get tired of healing, you can:
- Tank
- MDPS / RDPS
- turn into a crow with instant flight
- Breathe underwater for ever in aquatic form
- move 30% faster inside with cat form
- use your Class hall mount to carry someone else
- and 50 other cool things
Resto sham is extremely strong, both with their healing, and a strong ae bonus coming in next tier.
A long with a ton of m+ utility.
Shaman can be fun when you set up right, holy priest has that iconic healer feel, but druid has kitty. It’s not an easy choice
Druids are my favorite overall class of all time - but I currently don’t enjoy raid healing, key healing only somewhat.
Holy Priests are my favorite healing spec of all time - but i don’t enjoy any kind of healing on them right now, especially keys.
Disc is great fun but I don’t love it like Holy. It’s fotm and there’s an oversaturation of them (especially poor ones). That said, if you enjoy Disc and don’t suck, it’s a great choice.
Shamans are not my aesthetic, not sure why, but I love, love, love healing on them. This is the healer that holy priest used to be, yes totally different flavors and playstyles, but I mean a healer that has buttons for almost every situation plus shaman brings a whole extra bunch of utility.
In conclusion, I recommend Holy Paladin. j/k. You need to find what you love. All of them will work. Figure out what works for you.
Rsham is my favorite thing to heal PVE on. Has the most ‘wipe saving’ tools (IMO), with shear on an 11 second CD you can handle a lot of priority kicks yourself, but preferences will vary.
Also going to chime in and suggest rshaman. They’re a solid pick with a ton of utility.
If you’re gunning for title - whatever is defined to be meta in the 11.2.5 patch.
If you’re playing for fun - shaman.
Shaman imo. They are fun, flashy, great heals, great utility. Lust, personal rez, etc.
And, to turn it around, everyone is glad to see a shaman healer.
