Healer rolling need on a tank weapon?

It’s a Druid weapon. It’s not great for Warrior.

Seems fine that they rolled, I wouldn’t lose a good item for my os to someone who rolled on it without knowing it’s trash for them.

Would of been wasted loot.

That mace is BiS for those bears who can’t afford the Warden Staff, but he was healing and you were tanking so he should’ve asked you if you needed it before rolling need on it.

Or at least that’s how personally I roll, MS>OS always.

But I do agree some people have a really hard time accepting it. Wasn’t that much of a discussion back in the day though, IIRC.

Its better for druids than warriors.

How do you figure? Fast weapons are amazing for tanking because you can dump rage quickly with heroic strike. This comes in handy in raids when tanks are constantly filling up on rage. However, in five mans you almost never get the chance to even use heroic strike. If you have enough rage to heroic strike, you were probably afk for a minute.

So no, the faster speed of Keris is not helping.

Yes, it certainly does scream entitlement and selfishness if you think that healer only exists to heal your dungeon run.

You must be bad at tanking then.
Fast weapons are superior.

Yea that is true but that’s really not an upgrade either.

I’m open minded, prove it. I fell into that trap myself, just one of those things that everyone “just knew”, but the math doesn’t back it up. Fast weapons are amazing for rage dumping, and they will technically give you smoother rage generation because the give you rage more often… but they don’t generate any more rage than slower weapons.

Theres a much better druid weapon from DM North

Sounds like you need more crit.

Rockin 27% with just a goose atm in tank setup

It’s okay. At least the druid still can use it and benefit from it. I seen mages rolling on +shadow and +healing gears.

+Shadow gear is as useful to a Mage as Armor and Strength to a healer.

Actually i dont know that it is. Increasing time between attacks by 10% is basically decreasing the damage you take by 10%. Not sure that armor and stam would make up for that, especially with the weapon speed being off.

It looks like the procrate on the weapon is quite low. If it was consistently up, then yes absolutely, but it’s a rare proc so the overall effect is quite low. The weapon speed is essentially meaningless, as has been said before, as you always can spend all of your rage in 5 mans. In fact, a slower weapon is better for when you Cleave/Whirlwind.

Or its just rolling on an item that you can use more effectively than the other. Its a dungeon, not a raid. I always announce that when i tank or heal i’m still going to be rolling on gear for those specs. I heal for raids, I tank for dungeons. I have a set for each. Its simple and far from entitlement.

Context says healer. Druid is more than a healer. Sure that might have been the role at the time but its different that if a priest rolls on it. 360% armor from items vastly benefits the druid vs the warrior, especially since its a side grade. I don’t tank for raids but I often tank for dungeons. Title was misleading.

What druid would even roll on that 1h mace, when they can get the 2H mace from tribute chest that’s way better?

Good job taking that waaaaaaay out of context. I never said that nor implied that. Good lord.

What? Lol no. That’s not how math works lol
