I am just getting back into WoW, and want to do solo shuffle or maybe 2s or 3s. I watched a few vids on healer ranking, and decided to roll holy paladin, but after play testing and hearing what others say about it - the APM is too high. I’d rather play something that doesn’t require very high APM.
Hi. I play all healers extensively. HPal is by far the most chill healer with the lowest APM. This is because of how BoP, divine shield, sac, etc works. Other healers aren’t so hands off with their playstyle.
Next is probably hpriest. You can turret heals pretty well. Mistweaver can too but is much higher apm. While rdruid is good, it’s not really that easy to play.
Overall tho, healing needs to feel good to you so it’s best to pick your favorite. There’s a healing playstyle for pretty much anyone in this game.
I feel like resto druids need more counterplay. Never thought there was a problem with cyclone or their healing in general but almost their entire kit is instant cast so as a healer you can’t really stop them from healing. Facing them in shuffle is so boring just like facing Mistweavers because a good one will drag out matches to high dampening.
It’s crazy how much more fun shuffle is when the healers are actively contributing to doing damage and not chasing each other for cc all game into high dampening.
