So i’m getting back into healing. I was wondering if there are any healing classes that do good enough dps for basic open world content. I honestly hate having to switch specs to do a certain type of content.

It works but it’s still slower than Shadow. I can’t stand it for too long so I usually only use it for tough fights (eg. Elites).
Holy paladin
None of them are super great. I actually find holy priest to do more dps than disc. Holy pally is ok but it’s bursty and not a lot of aoe.
better off just using a dps spec for open world honestly.
My resto druid does decent enough damage for WQ’s at 120. he is only like a 415ish ilvl. its slow, but with putting down eflorescence and double rejuv, nothing really hits me hard enough to get thru that. except the deadly WQ’s, but i just sign up as healer in the LFG and get it done easily, or just wait a minute till some big D DPS comes along.
Offspec a dps set, its faster.
Feral affinity druid. Disc priest. Hpal.
Why do folks read how you hate to switch specs then tell you TO switch specs.
I always thought Disc did decent enough DPS to level with. I’m like you. I strongly dislike spec swapping and always level my healers as healers.
