Okay.. maybe I am dumb or didn’t look well enough, but what is happening with the healer addons?? I use cell. Logged on Wednesday morning and puff gone. Please someone tell me cell is coming back!? I can’t heal at the moment. Plus, I am not use to Blizzards UI and I am having a hard getting use to it cause I use Elvui. Can someone be nice and let me know if cell is coming back, or what to use now? I would appreciated it. Thank you! <3

Don’t know, haven’t logged in yet. I just hope Healbot is still a thing, if not then i will be sitting my healers UNLESS they gave the base UI the same functionality as Healbot. I’m not rebuilding the game to do the things Healbot already did.

There’s also another thread on wow with some info on updates for elvui. ElvUI for 12.0 [UPDATE: Official Release is here!]
Don’t expect the add-ons to function exactly as they used to due to the ui changes - the thread from elvui may give you an idea of what to expect

VuhDo has always been my go-to addon.
This click-cast healing is essentially a brand new procedure for me to learn & get used to. And after spending the last 24hrs or so practicing, I came here to voice my disapproval of not having access to that addon anymore.
I hope Ion/Blizz decides that they need to revert MANY things this pre-patch changed, but I know that may take a miracle… Everyone get their pitchforks and torches!!!
***UPDATE: After some enlightenment (thanks Probablydyin) & research, and then a couplefew hours of customizing & adjusting, I was able to produce a pseudo-VuhDo style of interface/frames for healing. I did install DandersFrames as a starting point.
It IS possible!! – just takes some time.

Dander’s frames work just fine. Obviously there is some pain points with debuffs/hots etc. I used Cell primarily for everything, so this is a good replacement for me right now.

For my Rustoration Sham and MW gobgals I use Healium. Not as good as VuhDo but functions pretty smoothly.

There is a need for a UI to indicate what hots are on what targets properly. Im a healer that has never used any “healer addons” and the BlizzUI setup/options are not good at all.
In response to OP Elvui is working on an update theres a PTR version that they have that you can download but its not great. Im using a Frankenstein mix of dominos, and danders frames right now. It takes a bit of set up but it will do if you wanna try it.

I’ve been using dandersframes, as all I need is a solid frame that can show the buffs/debugs currently active.
No replacement for ElvUI frames with the little squares. I miss those, but it works

What do you mean? Its the exact same as Healbot/Vuhdo functionality.
You set up raid frames and click on the raid frames with your set up click-hotkey spells. Same thing lol

Highly recommend dandersframes. You can copy people’s profiles for it too. I’m also a cell enjoyer, and going without has been rough. There was an update this morning for it, so I am hoping they will have it ready for midnight launch and we can all return to normal haha

I came back here to post a mini-update – After reading your response, I felt kinda silly (assuming you were correct, which you were/are) !
It does take some time & TLC, but converting these new changes into a pseudo-VuhDo is totally doable!
Just gonna add that I installed DandersFrames to combo with the new stuff.

Cell and Vuhdo should have a stripped down but working version for midnight, both mentioned they are trying to be ready for March 02

It is not. At least not in the form you expect.
I played a fair number of hours in beta and I can assure you the way you are used to healing is dead.
Addons now just are reskins of the base UI and do not add functionality. I absolutely loved cell and it vastly increased my enjoyment healing m+. Like healing in general addons like cell have been gutted.
Blizzard has killed the way we play.

What about for those of us who play classes reliant on HoTs, and the HoT icons are the size of grains of sand on the default UI?
I can’t believe they don’t have an option to change the size of buffs/debuffs in default UI.
