I just returned to wow after about a 15 year break and just got a priest to level 70 in time to try and learn to heal in the new follower dungeons. Apologies if my search skills are lacking, but I did not find an answer to my question which is:

When I cast using healbot, a drop down window covers the health bars below the one my cursor is clicking on. Is there some way to get rid of that so I can see what’s happening to the other health bars and plan my next move?

OK, that was the question I have but my search led me to some info that maybe I should be trying to use the newer Blizzard interface features for healing with mouseover casting instead of healbot. Is that the general consensus these days?

I haven’t heard many still using healbot personally. I think nowadays its either mouseover macros or for the lazy like me, the addon clique which is basically the same thing but way easier to set up.

Iirc there is a way to hide that problem via the add-on itself.

Under skins>frames>general in healbot i managed to find an option to reposition the tooltip so it is out of the way. Thanks. Not sure how to turn off the tooltip but it’s ok for now.
