OH MY GOODNESS the nostalgia . I have not played wow for many years and finally decided to try classic again. Does healbot work with classic wow? I remember i used it and loved it. If it doesn’t is there anything that does? I love healing.

Healbot, VuhDo, and Clique work in classic.
VuhDo far superior for classic at the moment.
Addons for classic are really nothing like they used to be. Addons in vanilla were much more powerful than what we’re allowed to do now. That being said, anyone using healbot was often at best only an average healer, and often times they were the worst healers.
Vanilla Healbot was as close to a botting mechanism as add-ons could make. It was used so healers could see the content rather than health bars, iirc.

It works. Get a skin though, it’s pretty ugly by default.
Vuhdo is nice too but I swear it doesnt update healing bars as fast.
I used power auras in vanilla, exact same concept. Macros/Addons were insane in vanilla. You could configure healbot to literally choose a spell rank based on exactly how much health was missing. There were one-click addons for patchwerk healing…
If we had if/then macros these days, every guild would be downing Nef in 60 seconds or less.
