How will this affect the healer community? I personally know a few people who have already said they’ll just stop healing because they’re not doing it without it.
This seems like it will hurt queue times unless they replace it with something comparable

If an Addon is required to heal well, that’s a failure in how healing it designed, which is on Blizzard to fix.
all combat related mods are being gutted so the lazy people that cant bother to use mods will not be made to feel bad for not using them. so yes healbot is a combat related mod. as for me i will not be healing anymore groups or raids after it happens.

look it up yourself. the only ones that are being considered to stay are non combat mods that do nothing to actually help you other then mogs and maybe pets.
I’ve watched the webcast myself where Blizzard specifically states they may have to limit the functionality of SOME that are specifically for encounter designs. Healing addons are not those. And they also said they know they have to be careful with how they do it so that it doesn’t inadvertently affect other addons.

I know they’re adding in some comparable stuff to replace a few addons but I’ve seen nothing for Healbot.

i have healed a lot over time (raid, m+, pvp all at modest levels), but not too much recently.
I have always use clique for my mouseovers.
