Hello was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem I am having with my headset. I have the Corsair gaming headset and been using it on discord. But when it comes to using the mic on it sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and I don’t know why.
I use it one day and it’s totally fine everything works perfect but then the next day people say they can’t hear me when I try talking on it I don’t change a single setting or anything just randomly people can’t hear my mic anymore. anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?
Is it wireless, usb, 3.5 mm plug? Is it plugged into the motherboard or an external sound card?
Is it only in discord that it randomly stops working?
Do you use push to talk or some sensitivity setting that automatically detects input?
its a USB plugin so just plug it into the computer tower and i use push to talk and input volume is max
I think discord is messing something up as others get the same issue even with different headsets lately. But then again Windows always had issues with the mic and programs that use it.
I suspect it’s a usb issue. Sometimes my keyboard doesn’t get recognized. Like not enough power getting delivered by the time windows starts. Necessitating an unplug/replug or reboot.
I would think it’s similar with the headset. If the threshold to wake the mic isn’t met it will just default to a different input.
