Same here. I have no idea how they’d refund me unless it’s just like a ton of bnet balance.
Irrelevant, whenever allied race DKs were added.
Despite the fact that they were implemented in a BFA patch, Blizzard support will fight to the death to insist it’s Shadowlands content, a game expansion that doesn’t even have a release date.
I know that I will play on release so I have no problem pre-ordering it. Here or then doesn’t make a difference to me.
And I get the pre-order bonus at the same time.
The month of game time you got, depending on which version of the expansion you bought, is most likely what is preventing the refund.
Refunding digital media is notoriously difficult. In the future, just don’t buy anything digital that you aren’t sure you want. Buyer’s remorse isn’t exactly a good excuse to charge back; anyway.
In either event, it’s like $75? I think at most, unless you ordered multiple copies, Not worth the effort imho.
That’s why I always pre-order. I know I will play so no reason not to.
In that case the banks is gonna lose a account just for 60 $.
Op is willing to accept account termination so I do not see the problem .
If a bank loses an account over a childish tantrum because of buyers remorse then nothing of value was lost.
Never pre order any game. Wait for it to come out, watch reviews and then buy.
If you get an impulse to preorder, try to remind yourself of Fallout 76 and Warcraft 3 reforged.
If you still preorder. Suffer well.
Is he really gonna through the trouble switching bank just for 60$ from a video game company? Just learn from your mistake.
So.
OP pre-ordered.
Pre-order comes with game time.
OP likely decided to refund the game at some point later, probably a month or so.
Technically benefited from the pre-order.
Now wants to cancel said pre-order.
I wouldn’t refund you either.
Now if it was within 30 days, that’s different.
Value would depend upon how much revenue was there is the account, how much it was generating and how much good the standing was. I don’t think you understand banking well enough to make that Judgement .
It would be foolish for the bank to do so , if obvious claim is obvious
The OP doesn’t have a valid reason for a charge back… buyers remorse isn’t a valid reason. But most people aren’t willing to accept responsibility for their own mistakes. I’ve bought things I’ve regretted both digital and physical sometimes I’ve been able to get a refund sometimes not. If I couldn’t get a refund I learn from that mistake and move on.
The customer isn’t always right.
So you didn’t read the terms/agreement on the pre purchase…
There is no difference between Classic/Retail s far as your subscription time or contract goes either…
Sounds like a case of “I didn’t read, but bought anyway and now blizzard should fix my mistake”
If you bounce that transaction, expect your account to be banned/suspended indefinitely until you pay that money back because like it or not you did USE part of the expansion you paid for
We always see threads where people say, “I don’t know why I pre-ordered, and I don’t know if I’m going to play the expansion. But I always pre-order, so I did this time too.”
My logic for expansion pre-orders is, “im going to play it anyway, so why not just buy it now?”
TL;DR Buyer’s remorse and now will threaten legal action.
GG OP, have fun with a locked account.
Lost my job. Just trying to stay afloat. It absolutely is buyers remorse. I admit I didn’t see the circumstances being what they are, but I am shocked at the inflexibility of blizz…
Every company has these policies and the more times people abuse them, the more restrictive they get.
Most entertainment formats are unable to be returned after 30 days. Movies, games, hardware etc etc.
