Use Anglers Water Striders if you want to walk on water
I used to close the chat window because I couldn’t bear to see others get the mount before me. See about 2 or 3 a year. Last year I had 124 runs before getting it personally. For me it brings back memories of the way the game used to be. Even if its horrible odds it was a simpler time.

Um it’s not a mount, it’s a mount equipment that gives the ability to all your mounts.
Oh. I did not bother reading it (no offense). I thought water strider was that red bug. Which they use it to ride on water.
They took away the water walking ability from the strider bug when they introduced the mount equipment thingy into game.
It caused an uproar - guess you weren’t around when it happened?

I just searched up wowhead and apparently it says it can swim underwater quickly. Is that true?!

Waaaaay back in the day, the mount was one of the few flying horses aside from Invincible. This was also when mount collecting was still up and coming making it coveted for collectors. The legend grew from there.

At this point, for me, it is about the fact that i cant get the darned thing, tho I’ve been trying since the first time it was available lol. I dont even like the thing that much, but its the principle of it now!

For me, I love Halloween and Hallow’s End so, the Headless Horseman’s Mount was a must have.
Also, he’s only around two weeks a year. After that it’s wait until next year. I also like that the Headless Horseman has true back story in the game and not something forced just to explain was he’s there.
Yeah that’s it I:m going to try to get the mount. But how do I get it?
you’re going to be looking pretty silly when you make a good mog and you dont have black and green fire horse to match it.
I believe the HH Mount is the OG flying horse. In the game a few years before ICC.
Just que up for the Headless Horseman in LFD. You get the Loot Filled Pumpkin for killing him and the mount has a chance to be in there. You can get one pumpkin a day on every character, level 45 and up. Good luck!
LFD? Only on characters with 45 and up? But I wanted to do it on my shadow priest 
You can do it on lower level characters but only 45 and up get the chance at the mount being in the pumpkin.
