Hi,
When I turn on Windows 10 HDR in Display Settings, I notice that my monitor has to pause (go blank) for a few seconds to switch back to SDR mode whenever I alt-tab in and out of World of Warcraft. It seems my desktop is running in HDR mode. This also occurs if I adjust the volume or brightness using my keyboard. The screen sometimes goes blank when I move the mouse for the first time after starting WoW. The monitor briefly goes in to HDR mode and needs a few seconds to do this. I can “fix” the problem by disabling HDR in Windows 10. I am using DirectX 12, which gives me much better frame rates. Would it be possible for you to support HDR so that my monitor doesn’t go unresponsive. I have built-in speakers and they also go silent for a number of seconds when the monitor goes blank.
Regards,
Dan

This seems like one of those things where Blizzard points to Microsoft, Microsoft points to the GPU Vendor, and the GPU Vendor points to Blizzard. Is there a way to force wow to use an HDR framebuffer? Would that help?
Any fix for this? This is exactly what is happening to me as described by Tashenall.
Thanks
