HD Character bug

While in Cata when I enable the HD mode my characters body turns all black and players in my party turn a light grey color. As soon as I turn off the HD mode it goes back to normal.

Also I noticed when I enabled HD mode there was zero difference in the game what so ever. (Other than this graphical bug of course)

Any one else having these issues?

A lot of random stuff is all black for me.

  • Illustrious Guild Tabard is sometimes black on char select screen but not in game; or vice versa
  • One character has an all black face (and my guild wants to cancel her bc blackface isn’t ok)
  • Another character has all black legs

etc etc

Seconding this, all my goblins have a black void for a face.

When I put tabard on my chest goes black, but main thing I have abs no matter what robe I put on. I mean detailed abs retail dont even have this. Its only one character that it does it.

Any one else not noticing a single difference with HD enabled vs disabled? I can’t see a bit of a difference. I’ve toggled it off and on about 20 times now and it looks exactly the same.

Also after rebooting the game 6+ times I am no longer getting the character model glitch. For now…
