On a side note, I'm back to losing weight. I'm hoping to be 180/81.6 pounds/kilos by New Years. I was 193/87.5 this mourning, down about 3 pounds from last week with no change to diet. I'm stuck with a little bit of a gut, but I'm able to lift more, walk 15 miles (24k) with relative ease and outside of a couple of bruises, less pain.
09/05/2018 04:40 PMPosted by WhimWe would have pears but Oklahoma weather took them out years ago.
Agricultural chemical drift got ours. Plays bloody heck with fruit trees and berries in particular. Wild Dewberries used to be very common around here until crop dusting and continual chemical warfare rooted them all out.
We had to change our farming habits when our top soil went into the Atlantic. The farm used to run cattle, now it's used for hay.
I'll keep it in mind. :O09/05/2018 11:48 AMPosted by WhimSame here09/05/2018 11:08 AMPosted by Lazyguide...I would kill to see pictures of that lol.
I'm already getting burnout from playing the game...
I've been focused on being a good boyfriend lately so my gameplay time is greatly limited.09/06/2018 06:19 PMPosted by WhimI'm already getting burnout from playing the game...
Bumped into some old friends from my home realm on my current one, though. In the time I can play, I've been having a blast reconnecting.
In other news, I've got pathfinder, now and plan to ride mm out until the inevitable buffs.
The more and more I gear up and sim, the more versatility is increasing in value over mastery... Y'all think it's procs like azerite traits and my fathoms deck that are causing these shenanigans?
So does CC DR on pets?
Or just players?
Or just players?
I... I don't know.

I do not believe DRs effect pets. DRs largely only effect players except for a hanful of spells like taunts.
Pets are not players. In the past, this wasn't nearly as big of an issue because all hunters had Master's Call and Bestial Wrath broke CCs on the pet and made them immune to them.
That is no longer the case.
Don't quote me though, I could be wrong about them not getting DRs.
It's just there was another NERF BM thread on General Discussion earlier with PvP players crying about BM being OP and someone mentioned CC DR on pets, and I'm with you I don't think that's the case but wasn't sure.
And they were acting like locking BM out of 60%+ of their damage via CCing the pet wasn't a viable strategy and the spec needed to be nerfed more than they needed to git gud. But, I got busy and it dropped off the first page so meh.
Also, PvE players crying for nerfs after 3 days of raiding like that is a reliable subset of data points.
Also: BM PvP hotfixes incoming

So, I haven't pvped seriously on WoW (used to PVP seriously on LoL, current flavor is low diamond on Overwatch) since Cata. Highest I ever got was like, 2250 something in 2s and 2100 something in 3s.
So, nothing spectacular but I don't think that's really bad either. Around 2K rating where you couldn't literally 1v3 or 2v3 people any more because they actually knew enough about what they were doing, you'd see people actually CC the pet. It's why BM wasn't really viable outside of some gimick burst comps.
And BM had more ways to clear CC off the pet back then and even had a glyph to give mend pet a chance to dispell debuffs per tick which was mandatory back then.
Truthfully, I think a lot of players don't try to take advantage of an obvious weakness. This is common in PvP, saw similar complaints for LoL daily, and the overwatch forums still don't understand how to counter other heroes.

Was really sad because most apparently thought it was still Legion with various Artifact traits still working.
Then someone mentioned taking out a whole team with a Stampede and healing to full with 5 spirit beasts.
The amount of stupid is staggering some times.
PvP: nerf X because I can't beat them and I refuse to improve
PvE: nerf X that looks really good 3 days in and therefore is sure to be OP for the next 18 months

5% nerf to all abilities for BM coming with the Tuesday reset.
Nothing for SV or MM.

So I'm thinking for soloing, while it would be incredibly annoying to do so, you could actually stack leech and it would be effective. You can get leech from random item upgrades, and there's the one tier 2 perk from azerite traits that gives mastery and leech.
Stack that with Aspect of the Beast with a clefthoof, you can probably get upwards of 20% leech which is actually insanely good.

Did some 2v2 arenas with my old arena buddy. Neither of us have played arena since Cata.
Easily got past 1500, could have gone further but I wanted to go eat and take a break.
One of the maps (new one from BFA I think, for boralus) seems bugged. Exceptionally long load times to get in for most people it seemed, was super weird.

Nice. I just got to 1400 before the nerfs were announced.
Now I just want my MM buffs consarnit.
Also 7/8 Uldir via pugs alone.

Uldir itself feels remarkably like the "Genetic Archives" raid of Wildstar.
Godlike being's experimental facility? Check.
Overtaken by the virulent entity it was designed to contain? Double check.
Fungal-rot-like growth all over the place? You know it!

I haven't got to go in yet. Haven't raided yet due to IRL reasons. Hoping to check it out soon though.09/10/2018 08:16 PMPosted by YjjialUldir itself feels remarkably like the "Genetic Archives" raid of Wildstar.
