I understand you want to buy gear from AH. I know getting potions and elixirs from AH makes leveling smoother. I get it that buying materials for your profession from AH is helpful. I know you rather go buy clothes from AH than farm them. I know some quest items can be found in AH. I get all of that. BUT… a big BUT…
This is HARDCORE…
Level your character yourself with no Trading, Auction House or Mailbox up to 25,30,40 or whatever level that proves you are worthy. Then you get qualified to use trading…

It also creates that excitement feeling when you hit the required level. Like when you hit level 40 you are like “Ooo I can get my mount now”. And with trading restriction when you hit 30 lets say, you are like “Ooo I can get goodies from AH now”.

Trading can be an optional thing. This is an MMO, not a MSO. 
No one is stopping you from not trading
Also the Hard core part is the “1 life” part… you’re talking more of the SSF “Solo Self Found” part of the addon.
I mean… you could say “No items, No money, No skills, Just punch your way to 60 with out dieing…” and some people would find that fun… others don’t.
I like the way blizz has it at the moment. I think it’s a good start. Depending on how things work it’s self out later down the line… things might change. We will see

Maybe you should just be happy that they applied some HC rules to a server before focusing on SOM2.
First world problems, I tell ya.
this is a fresh sever, the AH isn’t gonna be bustling with all this OP gear on it that’s gonna make you breeze thru the content. the reason the restrictions were on the mod was because the server was already alive for a long time and there was a normal economy already. here everything is fresh, and the AH will resemble that freshness, you gotta remember people need to level up and find the loot first before they put it on the AH

I enjoy trading with other players.
Nothing is stopping you from not partaking. If you want solo self found ask for that game mode to be added.
Retail Andys want the authenticity of playing hardcore without playing by any of the rules you aren’t going to reason with them.

You may also enjoy rezzing, spamming dungeon, bubble+hearth on paladin, PVPing and etc… but it’s Hardcore and it has some rules. Most of HC community likes those rules that Blizzard has already announced. We are proposing another one.

Don’t think there are trading restrictions. Trading appears to be allowed.
