Looks like HC PTR in 2-4 weeks, then HC servers after patch in 3-4 months.
At least we have a timeline now.
Longer timeline than I expected, maybe we really will get some good changes.
Zelda now, Diablo 4 if it isn’t a dumpsterfire in early June, ToC to prep for ICC in July.

I was just saying something like that. We got a good stagger of content going now that OW2 is off the table.
Don’t forget to keep your sub active until then! It’s going to be so much fun to pvm to 60 then have nothing to do! Can’t even PvP! 6 months of dev time for this product! Dumpster fire company!

Such a shame that pservers are doing it better. I resub to get my wow on in era if its terrible once I reach 60. I’ll unsub again till the end of the year and SoM2 (i know they arent calling it that).

My only hope is the long timeline means they are putting in more work than we expected.
8-12 weeks is 2-3 months 
That’s for the patch, not the actual server. I’m assuming there’s lag time between patch day and official launch.
why does classic era need a “HC patch” anyway
that doesn’t sound good. all we want is a fresh HC server.
hopefully this is all just behind the scenes technical stuff.

That is a fairly typical PTR cycle which kind of tells us that they are planning on doing a few things more than disabling resurrections.
I would guess they are planning on plugging griefing holes over that PTR.

All the people who want this rushed out faster and think private servers can do this better would be whining up a storm if there were bugs or the extra rules weren’t well thought out.
Let it cook guys. It only tastes good if you cook it long enough.

If you ever used the PTR you would know that 95% of bugs found and reported go live unchanged.
