HC > PVP transfers would fix the lotus issue, and more

Blizz has historically allowed PvE to PvP transfers in the past so I dont see why this should even be an issue, aside from faction balancing which is easy to implement and enforce through an automated system that stops faction transfers when it becomes imbalanced.

Aside from allowing pvp transfers we should also have at least one or two other pvp servers as there are an estimate from what I have seen posted by others to be about 40,000 unique players across both factions (could be more or less now that some time has gone since launch). We have the population to support one or two more pvp servers, one could be rp-pvp which many in the community have been asking for.

Diversifying the playerbase into multiple realms would have an immediate affect by stabilizing volatile economies which struggles to supply the demand in its current state.

I know you may be thinking that transfering to pvp from a pve realm may be sort of “cheesing” the system in bypassing the threat of the other faction impeding your leveling progress. That is true and I agree it should be a consideration, however hardcore realms present its own form of challenge that is completely unique to hardcore realms in and of itself, and considering the average players in hardcore never even see endgame content in the first place I just dont really see an issue with bringing them over the pvp realms, especially the lower level and mid range players.

ahh yes increasing demand for an item while not increasing supply will surely make the price go down!

I’m so smart!

Please go take an Economics 101 class. All of what you said doesn’t lead to Black lotus problem being fixed.

it absolutely will, HC transfers to PvE are why lotus’s are cheap there. allowing pvp transfers will bring far more lotus’s and will drop the price.

layers are permanent on HC and is why there are so many lotus’s available for very cheap which get fed into the pve realm which is why they are cheap there too.

it will 100% solve the issue if we also get more pvp realms to diversify the population.

Blizzard never allowed PvE to PvP servers until ERA’s population crashed to pretty much nothing. Thats the reason that people were able to transfer to the PvP server from the PvE servers, and now that Paid Transfers are gone, you can’t even do that with the exception of the HC server. The reason the HC server can transfer in ERA is a remanent of that policy.

So basically you want to give people and easy way to avoid all the PvP while they level, so they they can jump on the PvP server once they hit 60, where then they can gank and grief people that are putting in the effort.

These are new progression servers, there is no justification to allow people to avoid having to level up in PvP, if they want to actually be on the PvP servers.

Edit: What they need to do is cut off the ability to transfer materials off of the HC servers and other low population servers killing the justification for the majority of bots. The absolute worst case situation is creating another avenue which would push even more bot farmers into the HC servers.

All Blizzard needs to do is increase the spawn rate on lotus and that solves everyone problem with not enough supply and decreasing the prices on flask.

want to fix black lotus? Make r14 unlocked via 600k worth of honor tokens so you dont have to raid.

I leveled to 60 in hardcore without ever really being in danger of dying. I died 15 times just running to ZF runs in my 40s. Not the same thing at all.
