The only reason why so many people are on board is for one reasons only:
Its fresh realms, where everyone is going to on day 1. I guarantee you that after the first few days, the server population is gonna heavily dip. Then only those most dedicated to the game are gonna remain till they pull out the remainder of their hair, or run out of keyboards to smash after they die over and over and over again. Calling it now.

You be surprised. Have you seen Twitch streamers and have their audience take after them? Worse has happened in the past over WoW. People have literally threatened or killed over WoW - not even Hardcore WoW.

Yea I could see streamers going ape because, you know, it’s probably more entertaining watching someone who plays video games for a living destroy his stuff than it is actually watching them play.
I’ve never seen the appeal for streamers. I’ve never actually participated in a stream other than watching 30 seconds of their stream recorded on youtube before I realize how massively cringe it is to watch someone play a game I can simply log in and play myself.
