Havoc or Vengeance for soloing (harder content)?

Finally leveling a DH. Was deciding between that and warrior/monk, but I decided to just go DH. Though I mostly solo unless my friends log on or guild does stuff together.

I know Vengeance is the tank spec, and some people prefer dps specs to soloing. But like prot or blood DK, I could solo ALL of suramar back in Legion and not break a sweat. Though it took a while, it was cool soloing the entirety of suramar. And prot paladin can solo some pretty crazy stuff (or could in Legion, haven’t played mine in BFA)

But I heard vengeance is really weak and needs buffs, but that sounds more for groups than solo.

Then I guess havoc has a ton of leech, and one of my friends said havoc was almost like a tank spec for him with how much they can handle. Dunno if they could do the mass pulls or not though.

You can solo with Havoc due to Meta and Eye Beam, you dont have to be a tank to solo as a DH, just have to have common sense on how much you can handle.

As for new content solo’n you more than likely have to be VDH, Ive only solo’d one heroic and got bored. VDH isnt as bad as the non-MDI’ers say it is.

when you say soloing are you referring to dungeons and stuff? youd need to be vengeance to do that. if you are referring to leveling and questing and just general world play, then go Havoc all the way. VDH is a fun spec but you get soo much more bang for your buck with HDH. you will melt stuff before it gets a chance to hurt you. run the leech talent while you level and you will be all but unkillable

I actually mean dungeons and stuff. I actually do endgame raiding in EU WoW region, with some friends over there. And that is a bit much for me to do the high end group content on two different regions. That is partly why most of my time is soloing stuff here and haven’t really done any achievements (if anyone looks) since most of that is on EU side.

But yeah I meant like dungeons and stuff. I think I’ll just switch between the two for now and see if any stick out as my favorite or just do both. I do like havoc I get the dash ability…double jump, glide, dash, glide…thats pretty fun and I miss out a lot on that with Vengeance.
