Havoc Macros

Hello,

My friends and I make a rng spin wheel to select an alt to make and I got havoc.

Does anyone have any useful havoc Macros? I can make my own @cursor and @player macros for meta and sigil but are there macros you find useful outside of these?

I’m going to try to learn the mover rotation. It seems like you just immolate, retreat, and rush back in for big buffs. Should I just put these in a cast squence macro?

I’ve also heard of people retreating into an eye beam right away and I don’t understand why one would do that if you take the eye beam crit talent.

Check out jedith on YouTube.

The retreat give you Initiative for 5s as soon as you use if you are close to a enemy, you just want to eye beam as soon as possible so you dont lose the buff after and can stack it with Inertia and Essen Break.

The eye beam also hit from really far so you dont lose damage if positioned right

You can move into the boss before retreating as well and eyebeam as you fly back

As for why you would want the vengeful retreat crit buff even with the talent that makes eye beam always crit, that’s because of the talent Know Your Enemy. It makes your crits do extra damage equal to 80% of your crit chance, so eye beam will always do more damage after a VR. Also the fel dev from Collective Anguish (bottom left of class tree) does not benefit from Looks Can Kill (eye beam crit talent), so there’s that.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize that know your enemy would buff it! Thank you.

I definitely find when I know the reason why it helps me remember.

Also another reason (and the most realistic one) is because there’s not any other moment to use it on, lmao.

You have to do both FR and VR in a combo, and they trigger a GCD when used after each other. VR doesn’t trigger a GCD.

Your best bet would be EB > Frush > EssB > VR > DS > Anni > Anni, but you’re not buffing EssB with Initiative this way. Also, using VR in any other moment than EB risks you putting you out of melee and missing one of the following (and way more important) GCDs.

It’s almost like Initiative makes no sense at all in our rotation when you look at it objectively.

TL;DR: Yes, buffing EB with Initiative is not optimal, but is the best way of getting everything else buffed. EB isn’t massive in ST.
