It absolutely deserved and needed to be nerfed in pvp.
Rather them get nerfed more because Demon Hunters have always been overly op vs other classes and specs and that’s really annoying.
It fights for the easiest spot with BM.
Nobody made an Evasion joke here? Really? That’s disappointing.
Havoc should never be good. It is not fun to play with havoc. It is a spastic ridiculous spec that is distracting and makes people dizzy. The nerfs did not go far enough.
BM isn’t a melee spec.
This game is pretty good at fooling you into thinking performance growth is personal growth. It wasn’t the gear upgrade, I’m actually a better player.
Every spec is about the same in terms of what it takes to play it well at any particular level. Once you got that it’s all gear and the character select screen.
And this season playing the character select screen properly is extremely important for performance.
Your anecdotal experience will surely be more deterministic than their millions of data points. Well said.
What season is this not true?
Not until you’re already at the very top of the game, and even then less than you’re trying to present here.
Burning crusade classic, and classic era were the only times it was true in recent memory.
For M+ season one and two of this expansion were extremely good. Most of the specs were within 5% of each other. If you got beat on the meters it was you got out geared or out played.
There will always be better and worse. Especially when you push the limits of an infinitely scaling system. But it’s a matter of degree. While the previous two season were really close, this is looking like S3 of shadowlands where the difference between the best and worst class wasn’t 5-10% it was 50-100%
I agree nerf DH

I am trying to use my fingers and toes to count back to S2 since it’s been so long… but exodia?
Bear Hpally Aug Fire Shadow.
No let’s nerf all damage all dps class by 50% and increase all mobs hp and damage done by 100%.
Make it a challenge
Prior to the fire mage rework and aug’s implementation the meta even as far as top 0.1% was pretty varied, it had begun to crystalise a little bit towards SP Mage X but was honestly still very open. Season 1 however was fantastic for balance overall, with varied comps playing keys well above and into title range outside of the tank slot which was a little stale.
S1 I was playing with rets, warriors, shamans (Ele and Enh), dhs, mages, locks, rogues, ferals, boomies, and hunters in 26-27 keys.
Even playing havoc I never got dizzy. How does one get dizzy just watching another player ![]()
To put things simply, motion sickness occurs when the brain’s perception of what is happening is confused because some senses are saying one thing while the rest are saying another. If your eyes are telling your brain you’re moving, while your balance sensors in your inner ear aren’t, for example.
It’s something very specific to an individual and it’s hard to really “put yourself in their shoes” so to speak.
