I would have agreed with you before but since only runs about 20% vers you absolute get chunked through everything. Your saving grace is the mobility so saving trinket and glimpse or double fel rush away from everyone is honestly all they have going for them defensively and insta clone on a CD.

I donât think people take dabdaddy seriously, I think theyâre just tired of getting run over by DH for two straight expansions.
So do mages, rogues, warlocks, and boomies, that doesnât mean that theyâre good kill targets or need defensive buffs, though.
^This basically. Blur by itself is relatively weaker than several defensive CDs, but you also have nether, dark, fly, an instant cyclone, two stuns, glimpse, and a ton of mobility.
The people who say DH is bad defensively are the people who are used to being able to press W and have pressure by existing and doing a PVE rotation and arenât accustomed to having to kite or weave in and out of combat.
Not many, because itâs been pretty awful the entire expansion and still doesnât seem great, but mvq is playing DH+ret+hpal, which feels VERY off meta and beat three teams of current R1 players at the literal top of the ladder.

DH probably cleaves harder than any other spec right now. The only spec that needs a buff is unholy dk.

To BM, fury, feral, or sub.
Thatâs about it. DH has great defensive into most everything else, and if you pre-do things you should live most goes.

Not really, arms cleaves better, so does feral and BM.
Stun the eyebeam and youâre stopping the cleave.
I know, that concept is quite new to DHs since they are used to just press 1,2,3 and get away with it, but maybe try to combine cc chains with your burst damage? It might help you to not get stunned on your eyebeam!

Or make it give a 100% parry during channel to help compensate. Or would that be unfair? 
When you would have played monk, you would know that most stuns and ccs bypass parry anyways, so I donât know how that would help him to avoid it?
Also is parry a quite weak compensation for the former stun that got along with FoF.

Darkness is a c tier defensive at best, Blur is valid, Glimpse, and Meld, but look at even a rogueâs toolkit with feint, purges, evasion, instant self healing options, auto cheat death? Letâs be honest guys, itâs getting so exhausting pretending this class is made of anything but paper anymore. The best defensive at this point that it has is glimpse lmfao.
Somehow DH can be a bottom performing Spec and THE overall bottom performing class and monkeys in this forum come in here claiming itâs op.
This game is honestly nothing but people actually creating cringe propaganda to push the pendulum for their desired meta, itâs not even just a wow problem but a problem in many different games and probably an unfortunate regression as a whole when it comes to people being able to constructively debate anything anymore

If I use glimpse as a defensive cd, my eyebeam will get interrupted too easily. I need to save it for casting eyebeam⌠this is so sad.
I was going to say something about cc immunity windows but remembered that theyâve all been pruned from DH and belong to the Evoker now
still wanting to say that meld shouldnât be considered part of a specs kit but a grossly op racial in need of nerfing
Imagine how terrible your class is when you have to list meld as one of your best and only defensives
I donât even know what the right new defensive would be at this point, this game is so bad at giving too many classes 47 walls, honestly something like an immunity meld that lasts 0.5s on a 20s cd is probably healthier than 10s of afk 100% evasion or a dragon being able to keep near infinite uptime of scales
