Instructions for ignoring people can be found here and covers both normal and hidden profiles. This can also be done on a non-permanent basis if you just want a break from someone.

Can't Ignore Users on the forums with Hidden Profiles

I have a theory on how to do this, but would need Bliz admins to confirm and help with the Discourse API syntax. If you view the json for a troll, even if they are set to hidden, you can still see their numeric user ID. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/u/username-realm.json you can get the ID And I assume an API post with the right parameters would set them to ignore. https://docs.discourse.org/ I could toy around with it, but would prefer a green or blue to confirm what methods are p…

Keep in mind that people tend to like to switch alts from time to time to circumvent these ignores. As far as I know there isn’t a way to ignore on a per-account basis. I wish this is something Blizzard should address.

Sadly, I have just discovered that this doesn’t filter posts from ignored users off the main listing. I can kind of see the logic in this, but it might be nice to have the option.

Also, Blizzard, please enforce a daily new topic limit or something for certain accounts… dang!

Just some extra info, you can’t filter the threads by a poster, but you can mute those threads using the toggle at the bottom. The default is "Normal’. This one probably shows “Tracking” or “Watching” for you.
