Having such a hard time with pet battles for the Uldum pet quest line

Any pet recommendations? I just got the Unborn Val’kyr, took me a long time to get

What other pets should I get so I can defeat these daily pet battles for the Uldum pet/mount quest line?

Also, any tips on lvling up pets fast?

you can do it with lvl 1 pets, the enemy gets scaled down

Those battles actually scale to your pet’s level, so no need to level your pets. They’re also much easier at level one.

Unborn Valkyr - Shadow Shock > Curse of Doom > Haunt
Zandalari Kneebiter - Hunting Party > Black Claw
Finish with 3rd Pet, usually 1-2 attacks.

I levelled up most of my pets by doing the pet battles in MoP & WoD.

In MoP:

In WoD (don’t bother if you don’t have flight there):

Legion WQ pet battles can also be good, depending on the WQ. There’s one in Stormheim that was particularly popular for levelling (Beasts of Burden, near Valdisdall FP), especially if it’s pet battle week.

I wouldn’t bother with BFA pet battle WQs, as they have nerfed xp.

I also use the Rematch addon to manage my pet levelling queue, and Xu-Fu’s site (that’s the site I linked above) for strategies.

There are a ton of videos on YouTube.

I usually use Boneshard, Ikky, and the drone (for the quest). Hasn’t failed me yet.
