Having 10+ layers per server is absolutely game breaking and undermines the entire purpose of this project

You rolling with layering instead of condemning it as a game killing feature as it was in cataclysm and beyond will only seal classics fate as a shell of it’s forner self.

Players like you are what blizzard banks on to sweep things under the rug. Your kind killed what was once great. We’re all here like hey watch out, and you guys are so narrow-minded n incapable of thinking ahead that we will never make progress. Your ignorance and lackadaisical mindset is precisely what blizzard counts on to succeed.

One hell of a tin foil hat you got there bud.

This is literally what happened:

Old Classic Player: Layering is bad they should fix it
Casual Player: They will, stop trolling about layering

I’ve been here since vanilla. You’re precisely the demographic blizzard takes advantage of in order to pedal it’s product. You guys defend them while they’re outright lying to us and implementing a feature that played a huge part in destroying wow- as if doing it now wouldn’t kill the game even though it did back then? Pure ignorance.

And i bet you will still play classic. Layering or not

That mentality is so extremely ugly. Shame on you for crusading for a company that has became the epitome of a sell out with no more soul.

How hard would it be for the largest most powerful game company on the planet to open an adequate amount of servers instead of forcing technology that kills community while lying about it at every turn.

They’re short circuiting classic, hamstringing it’s potential, all to save money. As the most powerful gaming company. It’s so extremely ugly.

It would be nice if they did do those things. But it is what it is mate. Nothing you do or I do will ever change anything that blizzard does. All we can do either pay to play or take our money somewhere else.

Things do matter Laruya, it’s just up to Blizzard whether they listen. They did create WoW classic by fans uniting, as well as adding an RP PVP> There is always hope.

But yes there should be more servers.

It’s pretty disappointing. I’m not interested in playing classic for the grind, kill x quests, or class design. It’s the social experience vanilla had that I’m nostalgic for. I could be wrong, but I think that’s the main draw for most people. Layering is like self-sabotage on Blizzard’s part.

The whole rp pvp thing should tell you just how little Blizz cares about Classic. It took MONTHS of begging for them to decide to add an rp pvp server. Disgusting.

I’ve been pounding that for months, but it does no good. You meet someone you like, you friend them, and you continue to play with them since layering means you CAN still get into groups etc with each other.

It’s not like these layers are solid, static things that never cross. It’s not like you’re assigned to a layer at your first login and that’s where you stay forever.

And a very well stated one.

250 players all fighting over the same poor Kobold Vermin. The same SINGLE Kobold Vermin? 2 days to get out of the starting area?

Too late, now just deal with it.

Echo … echo … echo …

Fixed that for you

Started playing December 04 and didn’t get my first 60 until mid summer. Honestly don’t see the point of jetting along with the way the phases will rollout. Many people need to sit back, relax and enjoy the game.

Dude… it will be okay… Dead servers are worse, trust me…

They know the populations, you don’t… they got it handled.

More people per server means more opportunities to make friends.

The hand wringing over this is astonishing.
