I won’t say it’s bad, but does anyone else feel kind of screwed over by the whole class fantasy thing they pushed in Legion? Particularly as Ret. I’m not saying that it was super complex before, but Empowered Seals was a fun talent.
I don’t know, guys. I mained this class for eons before Legion, now I’m just not feeling it, even after a couple of years away. 
I stopped playing because legion design was that terrible. BFA is a little better, but has nothing on WoD or even MoP.
All three specs were so much better in WoD.
Prot to me is the most boring of the three atm. All of the prune and homogenised aspects have ruined paladin!
I only hope that whatever expansion comes next does a major overhaul again so we can get rid of this atrocious design… Legion and BFA have been a serious low point for class design as a whole.
Yeah, pretty much my experience as well. It was still kinda fun in Legion with artifacts - Divine Storm projected 20 yards ahead, and then echo of it also projected, so numbers everywhere. Plus DP legendary at the end with Crusade.
But then in BFA it was all removed and it slowed down dramatically. it got remedied a bit in 8.1 when they introduced azerite traits with procs for DS, but thats it.
Going to have to wait for another expansion in hopes of changes.
I fear I’ll never enjoy my ret again. No Long Arm of the Law, no emancipation, no empowered seals, no double hands. Just a dull and boring class now. QQ
