Curious how many out there haven’t preordered yet. I haven’t. And I’m taking an unsub respite during season 4.
I totally expect to come back for the 10.0 pre-patch and play again. But I just can’t bring myself to pay the $49.99 +tax yet. I’ve preordered every expansion since WoD. From MoP and prior I stood in line at GameStop on release night. I miss the boxes.
But I’m a bit gunshy now. I think Dragonflight looks great so far, but so did BfA and Shadowlands. I’m just not so sure about this one.
Legion is highly regarded as one of the better expansions, so that’s not a bad thing.
I recently gave in and pre-ordered it. Quite frankly, I know I will at least want to check it out.
I also feel like they made that emerald dragon mount specifically to cater to me.
I guess it just depends on what you are going to do in WoW… for me, I like to get to max level, get whatever best gear I can, and then go do content from other expansions. I still have stuff to do from Legion and BfA, and even MoP.
If you’re not sure don’t buy. Wait until launch or until you hear more feedback. The game will still be there regardless.
As for myself I preordred the bare bones version. What I see looks like it will be a lot of fun though I didn’t care for any of the extras offered in the “deluxe” versions.
I never pre-order, but it’s just because I’m not in a rush. I usually wait a week or two to let the crowd disperse a bit and allow for any major bug clearing.
I normally order the base edition and upgrade during a holiday sale, so there was no incentive for me to pre-order.
I only did it to spite someone who was encouraging people not to pre-order.

Raiding(my #1 fav thing to do) has been getting too time consume/tedious/boring to me lately. I legit push AOTC as quick as I can then just take a break until the next raid.
I login most days, don’t feel like doing anything, then logout.
To be honest I have seen 0 things so far to be hyped about, only thing I am interested in is the new class because it can heal. But what’s there to do at max level? More boring raids or M+ which I dislike?
Honestly miss the days when WoW was fun, back when all my friends raided with me and such. But these days nobody has time to dedicate 3 hours a night for 2-3 nights a week. Everyone I know has basically quit. Thinking maybe it’s time to move on.
I have the Blizzard balance sitting there ready to pull the trigger, i just can’t bring myself to do it, i’d at least like to see my class talent tree preview first 
I’m holding out hope they cut the price for Black Friday even though I’m pretty sure they will only be discounting Shadowlands.
If you intend on playing the content anyway, then not entirely sure why preordering matters? You’re going to buy it one way or another and Blizzard will still get your money whether it be now or later. I don’t think they really care at the end of the day.
I’m holding out primarily because I rarely play anymore and have been extremely sporadic in my subscription. As I mentioned though, they know they’ll be getting my money and I have no delusions in thinking they give a hoot if I preorder or not.
I haven’t. But it’s less about how well DF is looking and more about I still have expansion worth of content to do.

I haven’t yet, and am even more hesitant to after how Blizz has be handling (read ignoring) issues that have been brought up. Instead they rather try to distract everyone with some stupid twitch show.
I’m waiting for more info out of beta.
I have not. Probably won’t until way closer to release -if- I do it at all.
I don’t intend to pre-order yet cause I’m not sure if I’m planning to play WoW seriously for the rest of the year. Got a lot of backlog for games I want to play but I can’t right not cause I don’t have access to my desktop T_T
