I normally only do casual battlegrounds for fun. But I’ve been trying out Solo Shuffle. I’m looking to improve on skills and etc. Youtube keeps popping up vids for Skill capped .com. I was wondering if anyone has used them before and if so, is it worth the sub?
enter credit card info to website.
read 3 year old pvp guide.
come back to forums and continue to complain.
Nah, go find some high glad or r1 streamer of your preferred spec.
I used it long ago for when I was pushing on alt classes that I was less familiar with. I just don’t think it’s entirely necessary though, I feel like you can get just as good of results, if not better, out of just youtubing guides from rank 1 players. I think some of the most important information is on positioning, and Cdew has some great videos on that (though they might be old now).
Just watch the free videos on YouTube. What more info do you need? Never understood the money back policy they got, there is so many loop holes to that, I doubt you would ever get anything back.
On their YouTube videos they say money back if you don’t get 400 CR after subbing. Doesn’t hurt to try it if you’re looking into it.
I enjoy Skill Capped. I interact with the person that makes their videos and he is super knowledgeable and they have some really knowledgeable R1/Pros that worked with them. The best part of signing up to me is the direct access to asking questions to pros in there discord. I use it often.
I actually run my own training website. It’s called Spillcapped. I show my users unique ways to prevent spills involving various liquids. We employ makeshift caps/seals, spill catch devices and splash zone prevention. Look it up sometime.
That’s kinda neat, don’t think that was a thing back when I was using it. That said, I feel like you could directly contact some of the guide makers / rank 1’s in game and ask for tips, and a lot of the time they are glad to help for free (assuming you aren’t rude about it).
ill never forgive them for telling me to make frostwitch instead of doomwinds in sl s1 on my enh
ever
Yeah it’s good if you’re looking to learn about all the specs would recommend for new folks
okay, thanks
my arena partner has a sub he gives me the info for. i have 12 70s and had 25 60s last expansion so i like to mess around on every spec most just in bgs and ill watch like 2 min of a video about how to do damage with the spec and then log off and build on it… the info isnt bad but they arent updated very often it seems and they seem to be in a weird spot where they arent dumbed down enough for super pvp newcomers but arent advanced enough for even most average players.
Pretty good site with new content. I use it to learn an alt sometimes.
I used it back in mop. They have super fundamental concepts. It wasn’t bad, but I think finding a high rated streamer would be your best option. Also recording your games and looking for errors will drastically help your gameplay. You’ll look back at yourself and be like “wtf was I doing?”
Can also look up basic guides on YouTube for your spec. Lots of free content out there that will most likely help you more.
Again I used it back in mop. Maybe it’s way different now. I see their stuff pop up on my YouTube feed from time to time and it seems the same though. Idk.
skill capped was neat back when you didn’t have access to a bajillion free youtube videos, streamers, and statistics gathered by the community.
Now being a paid service just gives it the illusion of being a more valid source of information. It’s more paying for confidence. Like some kind of man who will give you confidence in exchange for money. idk if there’s maybe some kind of more concise term in the English language for such a thing.
Anyway, I’m gonna go rub some of this snake oil on my balding head because the guy I bought it from said it would help me grow it back out.
It’s mediocre. You learn more by watching a gladiator’s YouTube guide and just playing the game. Plus the content they produce on Youtube is pretty much the same content on their site.
Fortunately got to check it out for free…
In my opinion, its better to find a streamer and just watch them or ask questions.
I thought a lot of their stuff was sort of obvious. For example I watched some Disc priest but found more value in a SS Reddit Disc post.
If you are completely new to WoW maybe, since the information is in one place, and some of the specific match up videos are nice but there’s a lot of out of date information too.
I did a very long time ago when it started. IDK what its like now but it did help me back then when I was starting out. Its prob worth checking out for a month or two if youre new to arena.
i remember using it. their site was structured really well and really useful to learning the basics. i subbed and it taught me how to improve my UI, my binds, positioning, and a ton of other things. for the price its very easy because youre guaranteed to learn a lot.
