Game is NOWHERE near good enough for me to pay 1 year in advance.
Class tuning (specially useless state of BM hunter in M+ which I main spec)
Dungeon tuning
Reward table is POORLY designed.
I will probably play the game in the upcoming 12 months but I rather be paying in 1-3 month subscriptions than the entire year in advance Specially for the reasons I mentioned.

This has been a chief concern of mine and has made me consider unsubscribing for 1-2 months until they get their quality assurance under control.
This expansion has admittedly been one of the most embarrassing expansions in terms of bugs and stability. That isn’t to say that I’m not having the time of my life when I log in.
Content delivery cadence, the narrative, raids, dungeons, etc., are all phenomenal and my hat goes off to the development team for all of those. You can tell that after Shadowlands, they refuse to have another fumble like that.
Only thing I wanted was the Birdy, which I already had from before. And I don’t like the cat mount. So no.
Blackrock depths is a new raid?
i will not be purchasing the one year sub because blizzard has not shown me that they can produce quality products.
the game is okay enough that im still playing but i won’t be committing to a year sub any time soon.

Yes, it has been turned into a raid with LFR, Normal and Heroic difficulties for the 20th aniv.
Yeah it’s an all new version, not just a time walking thing.
There is no discount difference between 6 months and 1 year, if they took off another dollar per month on the 1 year sub I would do it. Right now the extra mounts are not incentive enough to be locked in for an additional 6 months of service.

I agree that class tuning is a bit of a mess right now. I’m hoping that hero talent specs that didn’t receive as much development time during beta receives some focused attention. Bit of a shame.
Agreed on dungeon tuning - I’m just not a huge fan of the lineup this season and how oppressive some of them are at +10 and above. Mists of Tirna feels free at +10 while City of Threads is a war of attrition (especially at the last boss).
Rewards could be a bit more deterministic, I agree.
I pretty much agree with everything that you said, haha.

Well let’s be honest…their track record of content droughts should absolutely scare anyone away from committing to a year at a time.
I got bit by that once before and I’ll never do it again.
Yes.
Since BRD wasn’t a raid and the bosses have entirely brand new mechanics.
My accumulated time already doesn’t run out until 2029. It’s hard to justify buying a whole extra year on top of that to activate a yearly sub, no matter what the perks are.
To their credit, they did an amazing job on their content cadence in Dragonflight. The roadmap feature that they’ve been sticking to seems like it’s here to stay.
I’m finding myself having more trust in them from a content delivery standpoint since restructuring after Shadowlands.
I hope it has mechanics on-par with Nerubar palace end bosses.
My sub is on auto-renew. I already have most of the mounts, and will get the others next time my sub rolls over.
I hate cats so I dont see the point
My account has had the annual sub since its release and i havent paid a dime for it since. My account(s) are paid for with gold and are currently paid for with WoW tokens till June 2028. The wow token has allowed my wife and I to make over $28,000 in blizzard balance in the last 4 years, by cashing out over 350 million WoW gold. All mounts, pets, toys ect for WoW. But at the same time buy everything we want in other games. I drop around $300 in balance every heartstone set. Preorder all content releases in all, D4, CoDs, Overwatch battlepasses, hell even SC2 voice packs. With TSM and now craftsim averaging 3 mil gold a day in profit right now in TWW.
So short TLDR… yes I have.
I don’t pay for stuff I won’t use, as soon as I get bored I cancel my sub and go play something else without giving a corporation my 15 that I can use for other stuff like my other hobbies, or buying one packet of peanuts.
