Have you played every class, every spec?

Not saying everyone has the time to play all classes and certainly not to keep them all maxed out but do you try all classes, a few, only one?

I haven’t played all specs to high expertise, but I do have one of each class at 80 and at least dabbled in all the specs for world quests and delves.

I think it gives me an idea what other people in my group can do or are unable to do, I’ve even come across a couple specs that were way more fun than I expected.

Now most of my characters are in low gear, again only doing world quests and/or delves as I couldn’t imagine keep multiple characters at high gear level.

Nah, simply because they don’t appeal to me.

I’ve noticed I have no cloth characters currently, and only one plate character, being a DK. Not currently playing them, though.

I prefer all leather classes, and all mail classes except evoker.

I’ve tried all classes/specs, at some point or another, during older expansions- I’m sure a lot of stuff has changed.

Brewmaster Monk is among my favorites, though. It’s so whacky I can’t help but love it, Breath of Fire and Explosive Keg are two of my favorite abilities.

Personally one, usually Hunter. I will start, kill 10 wolves 200 times, get bored and go play something fun for a year. Rinse and repeat.

I tinker with a bunch of classes/specs, but I only actively play 1-2, usually my druid or pally.

You probably aren’t too far out of the loop if you played the classes during DF, although longer than that some have changed.

Whether it’s significant enough to make you like a class you didn’t mesh with before I doubt it.

Every class yes, every spec, no.
Some aspects of certain classes just aren’t appealing to me.

Just playing them? Yes. At the same level of competency? No. There are just some classes/specs that I have found to be incredibly boring or clunky.

Every expansion I make sure to get one character of every class to max level.
I mostly heal, so I never play pure dps classes too seriously, but it’s fun just seeing how their rotations go, doing low or mid-level M+ and delves with them.

Legion was the most rewarding of course, since every class had its own storyline and unique content. In Legion I completed the Mage Tower on every single class/spec in the game for all the appearances, and in Dragonflight I re-completed a lot of them to get the Soaring Spelltome mount.

edit: But at the end of the day I just have one real main (Holy Paladin) and a primary alt (Resto Shaman), and once in a while bring my healing Priest or Monk to raid or M+ night

With up to 52 characters not only have I played every spec I also do variations of specs. Fury Warrior for example I have 2h Fury, 1h SMF Fury, and 2h + shield Fury. Elemental Shaman there is one more Lightning Focused and another more Flame Focused. 4 Death Knights Blood, Unholy, 2h Frost heavy striker Focused, and a dual-wield Frost damage Focused.

I could go on…

I’ve played every class and tried every spec other than Evoker and related specs. Playing a mutated frilled lizard was a thought that broke my streak.

Yes I’ve tried every class and every spec. I don’t like some and love some. I’m sure some of the ones I don’t like, I’d enjoy better if I got geared and practiced with them.

Everything except Demon Hunters. Theres just zero appeal there.

I am totally original

I have but only to do the mage tower.
In general I only focus on one class and one spec during a season.
Most of my characters will never change spec during an expansion. I just stick with my favorites.

I got pulled into the FOTM Shaman hype and I’m playing Enhance for the 1st time ever, just got my 2 agi weapons, now off to Tanaris to get XP buff!

So many buttons!

I had to add an extra 2 action bars, I need to go find me some macros now cus this is wild!

I’ve played every class and spec, but I haven’t played every iteration of each spec… So we can say what I tried before no longer exists in some cases.
För example, the last time I played outlaw was when it was called combat. It wasnt until remix I played survival (last time was in BC). Etc.

That significantly changes the understanding.

All but the 3 mage specs yes

Play is a strong word. Tested every class at every spec, sure. Testing being about 30-40 minutes of game play to decide if I like a spec, it’s rotations, etc. Throw a couple ability at mobs, see what happens, see if I can get a hang of it. That’s probably not going to qualify as genuinely -playing- a spec.
