Have you guys seen Loamm's Inn in War Mode?

Just turn off war mode if you don’t like world PvP instead of trying to ruin it for everyone else.

Kind of the point of WPvP.

Not had warmode on since BFA no reason to have it on anymore tbh other than to frustrate yourself.

I don’t get some people in this thread. Since when does PVP means using NPC’s such as guards is PVP? That isn’t PVP, that is EVP, yeah, PVE, just backwards.

PVP is usually Player vs Player, not NPC’s vs Player.

PvP is not zone disruption and the many blue posts on these forums will tell you that.

Since Vanilla.

Now I really want to turn on WM and visit Loam, for science.

Combat between individuals or a number of individuals in an open world situation is certainly PvP. However, when a player or players interferes with or disrupts the activities of another player or players using the kinds of actions they describe, that is also area/zone disruption.

You can’t say it doesn’t exist because it obviously exists, has existed and is against their rules - and the support page clearly indicates how you go about reporting it.

The End User License Agreement states:

"Blizzard may suspend or revoke your license to use the Platform, or parts, components and/or single features thereof, if you violate, or assist others in violating, the license limitations set forth below. You agree that you will not, in whole or in part or under any circumstances, do the following:

…Disruption / Harassment: Engage in any conduct intended to disrupt or diminish the game experience for other players…"

It’s a very generalised clause but as with all their legal documents, its up to them to define what they consider disruptive behaviour and the degree to which it diminishes the game experience of other players. And obviously from the support page, they consider certain types of behaviour - including area disruption - to be reportable.

And yes, I rambled. But its frustrating when people say ‘its just pvp’ when past examples of being being punished for just this kind of thing exist.

Sounds like Pre Flight Mechagon shenanigans.

If you want the PvP crowd to display “degenerate behavior” at every chance, and always hide behind the excuse of “it’s not against the rules” …

… there’s good news! Given even half a chance, you will NEVER be disappointed.

its just people who suck at wpvp exploiting every advantage its been going on forever or they run in with 10 buddies to kill one measly person oh my i’m tough. i spent 8 yrs messing with people who did things of the sort on a crap server oh my how could something be fair. it was amusing to beat 2 or 3 before you died so many hrs wasted.

During MoP we had a guildmate that use to go over too the Horde Shrine city in Vale…he is a warlock and damn good too…well for ever reason he started to go over too the Horde city in the Vale and pick off flagged horde players.

Well other guildmates and even me would join in for few hours and keep killing the horde…welp one day my Guildmate the Warlock got hit with a time out from a GM and put in GM jail…and was asked by the GM to stop killing flagged horde players…even though the Lock didn’t do anything wrong…he never killed npc or stop horde from using them …he would only go after ones that were afk and flagged outside…

Well he was put in GM jail for a couple hours…once he got out he and quite a few of our guild went over and tore the whole shrine up …we killed everything there…then left…what is was is the GM’s got massive amounts of reports for this Lock owning them and they were pissed off…hehe…that was all done before WM ever came out and on a PVE realm not a PVP realm.

If you don’t want players to PvP you, don’t turn warmode on, it’s that simple.

how about this, in warmode, you immediately cant attack players at a inn/tavern, but you can get into a brawl instead?

Yea, Warmode is great.

No. There have been many blue posts over the years that will specifically tell you that PvP problems have PvP solutions. It’s not griefing, it’s not exploitation, it’s PvP. Period.

And a solution in the CS forums from October:

Because it is. They will not intervene unless it is an extreme and excessive situation. I already said and was ignored:

I have quoted you Blizzard’s own input on area disruption. I am not talking about ‘griefing’ or general pvp interactions. But given I said everything relevant, ultimately its up to Blizzard. If they don’t believe it is a disruption event, they’ll won’t interfere.

And again, has NOTHING to do with PvP. Blues literally have told us this. I’ve quoted you the blue posts and solutions. You want another one?

And once more, since you seem to be ignoring it:

Now with that, I’m done. Blizzard has given their stance, their support article, their posts, etc. on how PvP is NOT griefing. You can continue to ignore it all you want to double down on your claimed “griefing,” but it doesn’t exist in PvP. Period. Have a good day.

not sure how optional pvp is griefing… once you go red, it’s anything goes

also, as many have said previously, pvp isn’t zone disruption

ppl killing you? get some folks together and fight back

some of the best times you will have in wow are in pvp. also, some of the worst lol

turn off warmode lol

Well, let me jump on Vanilla Era servers and get some town guards to do my own bidding then while I just get free honor for doing nothing.
