Bro I thought it was 100% drop, I got it first run of a mythic. But I can say that since trying it out I don’t love it.
It’s 4 seconds, procs off hot streak (meaning you will be using your hot streak for the first pyro/flamestrike anyway) by the time you get your second free pyro you barely have 2 seconds left on the proc. So at most without a lot of haste you get two free pyroblasts which I mean isn’t terrible but it isn’t happening enough for it to matter much. Also, tends to proc a lot during combustion windows where it goes to waste.
Ah , mostly planning on pushing mythic keys , not gonna be raiding more then likely. So flsmestrikes is gonna be the bread winner there .

No. I haven’t done the dungeon that many times, but keep getting ones I’m not even trying to get like Slick Ice. At least I have that option lol.
I didn’t even hear about the stealth nerf to proc rate. Seems like for most players the Temporal Warp Legendary or Fevered Incantations. The latter is kind of boring, but it’s passive and plays well with combustion.
A better idea may have been getting geared for a M0 and a likelier drop chance as opposed to running the same normal 75 times for nothing.

i got it first try in m0 too, didnt realize people were goin 30 fights without seeing their oranges drop lol
it feels amazing if it procs during your open with lust, and im assuming in a couple patches itll feel great all the time due to haste levels, but as is it’s pretty meh.
its got like 1ppm, which means even in mythics youre only getting 2-3 instant flamestrikes every 5 packs or so. plus, if youre scorching and pop it, half the procs prolly wasted.
I was super hyped about this but ultimately I am very unimpressed. I honestly want to DE it and get my soul ash back to make Temporal Warp or something more useful. I say go Fevered Incantation.

I’m pretty sure they nerfed firestorm again last week so it doesn’t proc from increased haste? A lot of people said put off on crafting your legendaries until raid release when they normally do some final tuning. It’ll be easier to know exactly which one to craft then and see what other people are using. Temporal warp is good for most specs, firestorm is still meant to be decent and incarnation is close as well. All 3 are good. I think even disciplinary command is up there as well.

Agree. I’m holding off. I’m not raiding so will have to wait until LFR comes out to get the raiding legendaries. Leaning toward crafting temporal warp and fevered incantation first. Firestorm is fun but if it’s not significantly better than other options, doesn’t seem worth it since it’s a random proc. The other two are passive or much easier to control.
How do you know when it procs? Does it give same highlight on your spellbar as hot streak?
I had to download weak auras addon. It makes a high ping sound when it procs but in my experience, when you are fighting in the heat of battle its not gonna be easy to hear between the mob sounds, spell sounds, heating up proc sounds…and general ambience. So download weak auras is the best advice.

I’m still not convinced firestorm is the best one out there. Triune ward has me sporting a 35% softy… but if firestorm ends up being a thing … shoulders it is
there is nothing to suggest the drop rate is higher in mythic
It dropped for me the day I committed to going arcane. Lmao
It procs for me once every 2 combustions so 1 proc every 2 min or so. My sim dps single target went up only 175dps. Prop less than a flask dps boost wise lol. I regret A Lot making firestorm

The drop rate has been increased; however, it was explicitly stated that the less frequent the source could be farmed the higher the drop rate would be.
