Have you found it worth unlocking Void Elves?

I made my second character a Lightforged Draenei after unlocking them but one thing is weighing on my mind. Void Elves look very cool and for their damage ability they don’t have to do anything extra.

I’m semi-thinking of swapping both this and my mage over to the Void because y’all look beautiful. For those that have them unlocked, did it feel worth it for them as a playable race?

Yes it is very much so!

Definitely worth it. I’m Horde and am starting to unlock all the Alliance races.

Because one of every Druid is where it’s at. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I must say both of you have awesome avatars.

Thanks you for your input! I think I’ll go for it now

Thank you Haraapa, by the way I like that your avatar gives me a Fel Totem vibes if it’s eyes were green instead. Looks heckin cool

The neat part about void elves is that they don’t get interrupted while casting as their racial, making them very good for magic classes. (though it also works for things like aimed shot, a hunter ability)

fyi I had my fingers crossed.

Definitely. I hadn’t played Alliance for a long time, and had some low level characters I had lost interest in quickly. With Void Elves starting at level 20, those existing characters got kicked to the kerb imediately.
Levelling them was easier because I liked the characters, rather than having to accept the best the Alliance had to offer at the time.

If you do a race change you cant get the Void Elf heritage armor which is one of the most beautiful of all the sets. Id recommend you level one up just for that. I did and my Voidy looks gorgeous.

Worth unlocking all allied races, even the mini-borg… not that I can bring myself to play one.

Yes of course 100%!

Void elves were the first allied race I got , they were the only ones I wanted as well. The racial gear looks cool with its galaxyish gems in parts of it.

The only allied races I have not unlocked were the BFA ones. I was able to unlock void elves because I could do it this character.

Yes the void elf unlock was worth it. I also unlocked them when it was current content and my main had already completed the entire argus story line and was Exalted with the faction so the amount of extra effort I had to do was very minimal.

I’ve made a point of unlocking every allied race even if it seemed like I’ll never play it just because I might change my mind someday and it will be a pain in the tush to unlock them later.

I LOVE my void elves now. it was scary at first with dark circles under their eyes, damp/greasy hair and that freshly drowned look, but now they look amazing. been having a good time in game as well, just doing chromie time. hopping around between expacs. :sparkling_heart:

I unlocked them and their glowly Draenei friends most because I had nothing else more interesting to do at the time.

I see you race changed. Great choice!

I love void elves. They’re definitely my favorite race. 9/19 of my Alliance characters are void elves :octopus:

I’m really struggling to decide to play this lightforged mage or make a void elf. They look really great, I could play a high elf looking character on alliance now. That is something I had wanted back then.
