Can’t argue with that.
Flat out encourages afk’ing in epic BG’s. Blizzard has made it so some battlegrounds or pvp experiences are 10 Mike Tyson’s vs 10 Pee Wee Hermans. And the Pee Wee Herman’s give you money blizzard! They give you MONEY!!!
the people who cried about templates r the SAME PEOPLE who copy other players specs/conduits/talents/gear/macros down to a T… insane isnt it?
these people dont even play the specs or talents they like or enjoy they just want to play what the best players play. they shape their entire being around them, sort of like a TEMPLATE
Well that is because Legion Templates were the worst. Legion was arguably the worst PvP expansion and unplayable cause “you couldn’t play your character or make builds.” Only WPvP was good in Legion. So most PvPers uninstalled.
I remember when I quit Legion because a PvP trinket didn’t actually work in PvP and was like well that’s it for this expansion. Cancelled my Sub and told Blizz when you let me play my character again I’ll come back.
That is why Templates were removed and don’t work. Even the Devs said they were a mistake as they removed the RPG aspect of the game. This is a gear based game.
Templates could work but it is too much work to make it function as the rest of the game (PVE) revolves around gear acquisition and power gains from gear.
The easier solution is bring back vendors. Which is what they have done but now they need to finish the job. They finish the job by actually putting more secondary stat combos on the PVP gear vendors.
Yes, PVE players may complain but that is already solved by having PVP gear much lower item level in PVE and secondary stat soft caps in place.
What they can do is to boost the item level of players under a certain ilevel floor for PVP instances though. That would make teams more balanced.
Hopefully DF will fix the gear issue. Blizz needs to tune the dmg down. No skill involved popping cds and killing someone in 1.5 secs. CD’s should be used wisely. Not brainlessly.
Like in PVE, which is all Ion knows, they have this gear treadmill in place, this carrot on the stick that you can never grab. Not knowing what PVP’ers want, they tried fixing a problem that didn’t exist by creating this same gearing treadmill. Does PvP really need 14 levels of progression?
